Haha.. you need to bait the line with more subtlety.
I’m generally like a old trout up in a sleepy estuary,of a river that you never visit in a part of Jindabyne lost in time. Like the original 1980 Monkey Magic opening scenes.
You are confusing me for a Australian Salmon going beserker in the channel 2 meters from the shore at Wanda .Sir.

I like your writing.

I don’t know where you get that take from an open question to the forum though.

It’s a legit question. We’ve made it clear that SJ is gone next year. Do we just cut him now and try Trindall?

They could, but maybe they dont think that Trindall is up for it yet, who knows.
I think the dropping of Chad has skewed the thoughts of fans, it looks like he was'nt dropped because he is leaving, it is quite clear now that he was dropped because he wasn't making the team better like SJ and Moyza are.

I’m with BBB. It seems to a balance question. The way the team was going with Chad, stacked with having a merkin of a draw was diabolical. It is soo much better to have a winning team. I believe that Chad also made his preference very clear within a week of Fitz signing. “Well, I’m out”.
Despite our focus on next year it still helps to win, if we make the 8 or close instead of 13th the noise lessens from outside. We win more with Sj as the half than Chad . Having Mozzarella in good form made the choice easier.
In my first post is said that Sj great. I am fan of his attacking play and for the record would have liked him to stay, not withstanding that he throws up stinkers like last night . I believe the club had not made a final decision on Sj, probably offered him one year on under what he thinks he is worth .
He said no thanks and they went fine but made it clear and public. Transparency is good.
I reckon all things being equal Fitz would take Sj on a year but it is not to be.
Again I agree with Bubby.
Trinidal is not the first option for next year or the next, it’s a development/depth thing. Therefore to bring him on now may not be the correct move for the entire organisation as we are winning, most people are happy.(except for us on this place, we are never happy. This is the way) and it may not be in the players,Trindalls, best interest.
There is definitely something in the works for our 7 for next year. I would not be surprised if it was Mitchell for a year. Everything seems to be pointing to a stop gap for a year then a play at someone else, it is just that the stop gap is no longer Sj. He wanted two years which is totally understandable. What I can’t figure is if it its for a 23 signing what not try to make it a 22 signing and get them to break the final year .

I aslo hope that Manu will come and that will be jizz worthy, unless Boyd’s money means the roosters can resign him. But he is a 6 or 4 not a 7.

I have been very impressed with both Moyza and SJ's defensive efforts.
In that regard they have been superb.

Enigmatic for mine. He can make an important tackle but after one more game he will overtake Toby as the leading tackle misser in the NRL.

I think his tackling is getting worse.

This might be an adjustment. I think he was defending right when partnered with CT. now he's defending left with SJ his misses are increasing

The way the dominos have been revealed to me recently leads me to think this is entirely an option.

Moses, Taylor, Milford, others. So many over time. These are halfbacks that get accused of drifting in and out of games. They do

So does SJ. He's a first half specialist and has had 2 shit 2nd halves in a row now where he couldn't finish of games. He CAN NOT game manage. He can not bring a side home.

So the sharks offer of 400K was “offensive” but I read today SJ is about to sign with the Dogs for 400K.

All the sharks fault though. Righto Shaun.

Chad may be a bit to blame for that, indirectly of course. SJ apparently knocked back the Cows so they went for Chad. Chad got the cash. Maybe SJ thought he was going to get that in Sydney, who knows. All I know is that Chad's management is first rate.

SJ at Canterbury says exactly what I thought about Barrett. He is a 1 season coach, always just looking to not get sacked rather than actually build something. SJ won’t manage games and burton with him is the same. Spend all the money on JAC, Cotric and others but missed the halfback. Get it done.

Yep, pretty much what I said to my doggy supporting bil and nephew.

Overpaid players in positions that are only worth looking at when u have the bones sorted.

Well he either takes the 400k at doggies or plays for Lithgow on match payments.
Nobody else will come calling
