Nathan Brown and Ryan Matterson should be tapped on the shoulder and shown the door and a player like Luke Thompson bought in.

When I look at a player like Marata and Papa they make those two overrated powder puffs seem pedestrian. Everytime I see Nathan Brown do those ineffective runs on tackle 4 I scream at the TV. Seriously who does he think he's kidding? And for a player of Matterson's size to have such little impact against the big guns shows how overrated he is. That's why he is never in the mix for a serious shot at SOO. The experts know as they do on the regression of Nathan Brown which is why he didn't get a look in this season.

Another argument can be made for Gutherson who also has had his most lean season for us since he got here. And Dylan Brown having one try assist all season at 6 shows how inept the coaching is at our club. Give him a go at fullback or allow him to leave so that his obvious talent isn't wasted with our stale coaching.

For a long time I didn’t want Flanagan near the club, warming to the idea a little. His analysis on Foxtel is very good, and after listening to several other coaches speak like Robinson, even Nathan Brown it is quite refreshing how articulate they are and why players respond to coaches of similar ilk.

The hierarchy at the club need to review performance, structure, tactics and make decisions that improve the club and take it to levels we see elsewhere.

And the other thing, which Gould mentioned last night, we are so used to bash and barge on not using the ball that the players aren't ready for flamboyance. The sivo try last night. Blake and sivo had already clocked off and when Bryce can back to their side, luckily they reacted in time.

Same last week, balls were popped out or passed and the players weren't expecting it. They expected just another hit up so never expected the ball to come out.

South's first try ( from memory) when they played the ball 5 metres from the left touchline, passed one right of the ruck, then went back to the short side, our blokes were bludging, expecting everything to go open side and the voila, it's 4 nil....
