I want to know how the club came up with a figure so high for Gutho.. No other club would have been chasing him hard.

I cant really fault the club too much here if Matto showed the form he has shown in the past 6 weeks when playing for a contract in the previous 2 seasons he would have already been locked up.

Matto didn't even make the starting 17 in that 1st semi final against Newcastle last year. His form at the backend last year was underwhelming.

If we offered Matto a low deal would he have accepted it when his value was low at the start of the year. I doubt it.

I agree. I'm OK with this. He has been great the last 6 weeks whilst playing for a contract but apart from that he has been pretty average. It hurts a little bit because we have lost so many forwards but he is replaceable.

Wish we lost N Brown and Matto and kept Ice. That is the f**k up IMO.

The first to Guth was more than fair, when him and his management pulled the same BS we should of told him to shit in his boot and eat it. His form this year has been patchy. How slow is he going to be in 3 more years???

Imo, Hodgson is a better player, and I rate Mahoney.

Hodgson's issues are his age, and his bad knees.
