And he has been spectacular since.
Guys, Hazlewood is the incumbent with a fine record behind him. That alone should get him the nod. But two selectors are Vics so George Bailey may be out voted.
Figured when Mark Waugh was sacked that bias selections went with him. What a fool.

No, Boland is the incumbent.

I like Hazelwood Although I do think he's a bowler that rarely goes through a side but it is not his spot and he's not indispensable. Boland is bowling better than him.

If it hadn't been for Hazes injury last year Barrell would still be laboring in state cricket. He got lucky to bowl on a lively MCG wicket. Who is not to say that the superior seamer of the two would have taken similar wickets if he played . Besides the Tamworth boy is the incumbent so if fit he must play.
I like being the odd one out. Sometimes gets me into strife tho.

Twizzle also wants Haze, he is never in strife...

Haze is a much better bowler than Boland, but I'm sticking with Boland and letting Haze get right. Two years in a row with the same injury

Boland simply has to play. In form, home wicket etc.

They won't drop Green nor should they. He is a long term all-rounder project for Australia and I'd agree with giving him a lot of game time. I'd rather Starc, Hazlewood or Warner (leave a batsman short, particularly if the pitch is a road) go.

But Hazlewood declared himself not ready to return, saving selectors from having to make the tough decision.

Australian XI: David Warner, Usman Khawaja, Marnus Labuschagne, Steve Smith, Travis Head, Cameron Green, Alex Carey, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins (c), Scott Boland, Nathan Lyon.

Good call by Josh, should be in contention for SCG test with this extra time
