The usual suspects in here are always boasting about how much money the NRL generates, let them put up the $55m, show some goodwill for the wider game.

They can attach some NRL figures to the management committee, have the whole thing in NZ, and it will be a bloody good tournament. The usual suspects on here should be all for it as it will be a chance to deal a massive blow to NZ rugby. ;)
Sounds like a plan

While twitter is a terrible source of information. Wally likes to post links to it all the time. Funnily enough he didn't post this one, even though he posted IN the actual twitter thread... brilliant!.

Seems viewing figures are better than the circle jerk on here would like.

Who is Colin Maisnbridge and how did he get access to the secret TV ratings?
If ratings were up Super Rugby would be singing it from the roofs, it would give them more $ in the next TV deal and more $ contra

Because he got shown them by NZRugby obviously. And given who he is, is actually written on his Twitter profile it shouldn't be too hard, even for you, to find out the answer to that question.

And why would they be shouting from the "roofs"? Super Rugby is only a tiny proportion of NZRs income.

Yeah, they're the biggest money makers in the game as you keep telling us, they're swimming in cash. Why shouldn't they contribute to the peak event that will help fuel growth? The quality of the competition is in a large part based on players from the nations that compete in the WC.

I thought you'd be all for this as you trumpet how successful the NRL is constantly.

They won’t be swimming in cash if they invest in things with a bad return for them

their last investment is showing a ten percent annual income

the nz govt will be making tourism dollars from the wc, and the nz economy will be making money it’s their job
So no it’s a bad idea

BAHAHAHA you are really sore about it.... That you are spitting the dummy and not believing it means absolutely nothing. The only two organisations who matter as far as tv ratings are concerned are SkyTV and NZRugby..

It's hilarious how you muppets insist Super Rugby is "dying in NZ' yet TV viewership clearly tells a different story.

Geez you are dumb.... It's clearly been "shared" to their "stakeholders"... you know the CEO of one of their clubs being one.... I swear you get less intelligent with every post. Even a half-wit should have done better than that.
