19700 with temp seating
16000 without it wanker

no temp seating was bought in

crowd was 16195 ..... a sellout , as it was announced several times in the media in the days leading up
but not to our resident toffball c head who claimed that was mis reported , no... evidence it was just
it was

you're not very good at this are ya Tea cup ?

You;re getting REALLY bad at this.. i almost feel bad for showing you up so badly...

Temporary seating takes the capacity up to over 21K
"the biggest for any sports event in Hawke’s Bay since the All Blacks played a rugby test against Argentina at the park in 2014. Extra seating was installed, including on the embankment, and the crowd was officially recorded as 21,329. "

And just so you don't forget...

"V’landys confirmed the ARLC has begun negotiations with the Australian government for PNG to enter the NRL."

Deflecting is all you have.... You found out that NZ2 is a dead duck and you are trying to hold on to it by any means you can... it's so very laughable.

So a broken link and two articles from BEFORE the game.... you are so bad at this.
The fact they were selling tickets at the gate, as mentioned in the actual sky broadcast, and the fact it was well below capacity was just an amazing coincidence.

But.. continue on... focus on a game from a couple of weeks ago to deflect from the news the next team will be based in PNG.

NZ2 might not be the next team in the NRL but there is a 110% chance NZ will have a second team by 2030.
By 2030 NRL clubs are projected to have a salary cap of 22m, NZ2 will be able to offer kids contracts that will dwarf anything NZRU can offer.
The original post was NZ2 will deal a huge blow to rugby, once NZ2 and other NRL clubs start Cherry picking the top NZ talent the All Blacks will end up like the Wallabies...a bunch of players NRL clubs didn't want :D

What is it with you Australians and you fantasies??? When PNG get the next licence, there are already two bids, with massive local of national government funding... No NZ bid will get that.
Aussie TV will see value in Aussie teams... Sky will be paying much less than they pay now and wont fund an NZ team.

And with NZRs income projected to hit 300 million a year, they will have no issue retaining the players they want.

Keep dreaming, its all you have.

3 new clubs by 2033 , a grant to each of 22 mill pa & a salary cap of 18 mill pa each
Young Pacifika men will be looking to the NRL as the future in this region , not Yawnion

as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow

Keep focusing on a past game instead of dealing with the announcement that PNG will have the next team... it might stop you crying.
the mis report of PNG being the " favoured " 18th team has been lamblasted , even laughed at across Australian Media & TV this morning

NZ2
here we come

So then you will have no trouble finding a link from V’landys saying he was "misquoted" then .. no? didn't think so.
