Blackburn would be a tad shocked you put him on the wing. As would Ryan Matterson.
He played the last game for KOE on the wing well listed on the wing would have him at centre and Cini on the wing.
Matterson?

Mataele is a middle, his mobility is too poor to defend on the edge.
Just got back from a nice weekend away. What did I miss?
Looks like as always we are over hyping our juniors. They got crushed in Flegg and I hear from a person at the ground that Matt Arthur was pummelled by the big Roosters forwards. He described his performance as
He also mentioned the winger Martin is already better than anything we have. Hopefully he has some blood relations with the Arthur’s or played at Rouse Hill so that he can make the Top 30.
Dude, I agree. So why then is he doing a full NRL preseason?Dude they won the Ball and went 1 game away from making the grand final they did a pretty good job. Especially against older and more experienced team in the Roosters.
It's how the coaching staff now continue their development.
MArthur isn't hyped by anyone to be honest he is a way off from first grade and should be in Flegg all next season.
I am still impressed by our forwards though most of them could make it into first grade.
Talagi, Penisini, Arthur and Tuivati could all play SG Ball again next year. Both are still babies and based on what I found below, MA can play Ball in 2024. That’s probably the same for many of our Ball GF winners. I guess them playing Flegg or Ball first or even up in Cup early depends on their physical and mental maturity.
“To be eligible to participate in the 2024 SG Ball Cup, participants must be born in either 2005 or 2006, turning 19 or 18 years of age respectively.”

Matterson
If he is a middle he isn't going to make it. He was playing on the edge but I agree his defence is horrible
What about the idea of having merkins coming through the grades and winning comps together? SG Ball only goes for half a season anyway. They aren't babies, they're able to play first grade. There should be no reason for them to play SG Ball next year and if we're serious about developing first graders rather than winning junior competitions they should be doing an NRL pre-season then playing reserve grade if not from the start then at least for most of the year.
Well Momoisea was in the centres that game too. Both were forwards playing in a team with no players. He played the last game for KOE on the wing well listed on the wing would have him at centre and Cini on the wing.

Don’t listen to people who have time for this. They are too invested.I hear from a person at the ground

Huge potential. For his age he is a phenomenal attacking dummy half. The effort and technique are there in defence too. He could be a bust but he could also be anything. A player like Lenaz might be a backup in the top 30, at best.Dude, I agree. So why then is he doing a full NRL preseason?
If you listen to the last TCT pod, he’s done NRL preseason since he was 12. Slotting in at hooker and firing passes to forwards in opposed sessions.Dude, I agree. So why then is he doing a full NRL preseason?
I am sure beating Jarryd was the real yardstick when it came to pre-season training. If you listen to the last TCT pod, he’s done NRL preseason since he was 12. Slotting in at hooker and firing passes to forwards in opposed sessions.
Famously, he beat Hayne at Wanda (?) Sand Hills IIRC.
I remember going to a couple of pre season sessions in January 2018 and seeing Alvaro lapping Hayne in some of the drills.... I get that Hayne relied on his explosiveness and not endurance, but even still, I was underwhelmed watching it.... and then the season turned out the way it did.... the season was a sum of its parts....I am sure beating Jarryd was the real yardstick when it came to pre-season training.
The bloke never wanted to train just rocked up to play whenever he felt like it. No wonder our culture and standards were in the toilet while Jarryd was king of the castle.
You should get a gig with the TCT.I remember going to a couple of pre season sessions in January 2018 and seeing Alvaro lapping Hayne in some of the drills.... These merkins just wanna chase the money bro, even at that tender age. They don't give a f**k about coming through our grades together... they'll stay in touch via Insta while chasing their dollar buck contracts in any direction. What about the idea of having merkins coming through the grades and winning comps together? Because child care is too expensive.Dude, I agree. So why then is he doing a full NRL preseason?
I guess we’ll find out. I think playing higher grades is a matter of physical development rather than potential.I don't see how the players that've played Flegg this year going back down to SG Ball makes them learn how to be first graders. They're just going to bash up on players well below their level, they're better off playing at the level where their skill level and physicality can be tested whilst still being able to compete. For mine they will not be challenged playing SG Ball. Put them in Flegg with views of playing as much reserve grade as possible.
Mate, you should have seen how big the Vanilla Gorilla's biceps were!!! Tremendous!!!!You should get a gig with the TCT.
We only ever hear through them how hard the lads were working.
