I am just telling you that they have their audience already - if you don’t believe me then think about the fact that Lions attendances were greater last year despite the Dolphins and Broncos being in the competition. Or the fact that the Swans are still alive despite having 9 league teams in Sydney. Essentially there are people in Sydney or Brisbane who only like fumbleball or league. There are probably others who can watch both and jump on a bandwagon. That’s just the way it is.

So essentially you can be all paranoid and try and stop them (futile as it is) or concentrate on your own potential market.

AwFuL should have focused on keeping the Lions strong. There's room for a strong Lions in SEQ, but not with the Suns. I think the Suns will fade into obscurity.

In any case, it would be a positive for people to realise this. Instead of focusing on what they are doing, just focus on what is best for our game.

I am not worried about what fumbleball do or don’t do. It’s their prerogative to base themselves wherever they want to in Brisbane or Sydney. That doesn’t change the fact that fumbleball is a niche sport in Brisbane and will continue to be so whether we have three, two, one, four sides (however many sides you want)
