Why are we worried about how Moses and DCE will fit together?

Both guys will play 7. It's just that only one of them will be fit/ available on any given week.
Pay DCE what we are currently paying Brown (750k), and he fills in when Moses is out (often). That way we can still afford Wishart at $600k to play 5/8 and run/ tackle his heart out.
You can't tell me we'd be worse off than we currently are??
You mean dce should be on a transitioning to retirement plan

No it’s about Nepotism, you refuse to understated. And if I were you I wouldn’t be questioning anyone’s maturity champ.

f**ken look out now I’m a champ!

I just appreciate that DCE waited until the Knights signed Brown to announced he was leaving Manly.

I have no doubt if it was announced 4 weeks ago, the Knights sign DCE to mentor Sharpe and Cogger, save themselves about $500k a year, and probably win a comp - and we're stuck with Brown on $1.1m for another 4 years

Jordan would love to blame that rather than the fact he just wasn’t good enough.
FFS! What would Jordan Rankin know about Jordan Rankin?

The point is he was deemed good enough to get picked in an emergency. The reason was his maturity, not his potential.
Can you quote me Jordans maturity stats?

What a stupid argument. 16yo kids are good enough if they are "mature" enough? Lots of 14yo's with beards in the Doggies juniors, thats where MON should be looking, get in first.

All he lacks is speed, which isn’t because he played NRL so young.

He's not physically quick, but in my opinion, he struggled with the speed of NRL.

Which is not a knock on Jakob - he was 19, playing First Grade.

I think he's a solid half, and will have a good career.

But he might need to move into the back row.

“The Sea Eagles contacted Fox Sports, where the panellists on their evening NRL 360 show were scrambling to react to the news, to say they would table a two-year offer for the veteran halfback.

It was left to NRL 360 host Braith Anasta, a rival player agent, to reveal the offer live on air. Cherry-Evans had not been informed in advance of the new deal that was being put forward.”

Lol, imagine if we’re did this? @Delboy would blow a MON shaped gasket!

I think it's poor form from DCE to announce his intentions for the future so early in the season, just like ol' mate Dylbags. All it does is cause disruption, conjecture and a feeding frenzy for the media. Surely this could have waited until the season is over. It's all becoming about next year and beyond for these pelicans, not the current year. We'd be stupid to even talk to him.

cause the rlpa wont agree

sad thing for us fans is we have to watch someone like dylan brown run around for the next 24 or so rounds knowing he isnt going to be here anymore
It's just not us who have to deal with this scenario. All clubs do. As a footy fan in general it's becoming a complete load or shit knowing that any given player at any time can just up and disrupt their club whenever it suits their fancy.

That James Graham podcast now has Hindy instead of Cheese (which is great) and his comments on Brown were interesting.

He started to say “The people that wouldn’t let him (Brown) play how he wants to play have left the team, but he’s showed nothing since that person has left” or something to that extent.

I assumed he was talking about Gutho which would be interesting…

Did they have an issue with each other? Could that have expedited things for Brown or Gutho?
