This is the jersey presented to the NSWRL when they were accepted into the competition for start in 1995. It is the only knitted jersey for the Warriors!!

Yeah, that was the first thing I noted too. I mean, by the time the Warriors (+ Cowboys, Reds, & Crushers) kicked off, it was already the ARL, but at the time of admission right up to the off-season leading up to the 1995 season it was the NSWRL. I have a Western Reds jersey that I received for Christmas 1994 with the NSWRL badge.

But this one here with the NSWRFL badge is an odd decision by those trying to make the retros intentionally inaccurate.

The original Warriors jerseys released for sale had the NSWRL badge, they Were released a good year or 2 before the first game by which time the badges changed to ARL

It’s weird because the Souths retro minties jerseys - 100 PIPERS and IGNIS FRIDGES in 83 and 84 both had NSWRFL badging but not on the retros.

edit the 100 PIPERS retro is 82 so no badging that year I believe.

Funny, Brisbane Norths consistently do a better job with those colours than the Titans do!

Everytime I see a Norths Jersey I think how much better the Titans could do with their colourway. These style screen ‘Rugby League’ a lot more than most of what the Titans have put out

Precisely!! I'm growing to accept the non-distinct colours (somewhere between the Eels & Sharks when they had a GREAT colourscheme with that Gold Coast Dolphins bid), BUT the lack of any definitive design that says "this is a footy jersey" and stands for something they can base their identity on.

After nearly 2 decades, they haven't delivered that - and I hope the Dolphins take note & don't make the same mistake, because they've done some chopping & changing ALREADY in their brief time in the NRL.
