Round 7 Vs The Roosters

Is anyone like me and just fed up with "Mr nice guy" James Tedesco constantly barking at the referee evey time the whistle blows.

Last night he was told numerous times to "go away James" but he continued to argue. If it was any other captain they would more than likely get the back chat penalty.

The Roosters show zero humility when they get beaten and always lay blame somewhere else for their shortcomings.

Maybe Teddy has been talking to his mate Mitch from Parramatta to perfect his complaining skills, and they will be shown to us all again tomorrow when Moses comes back for the spooners. Oops, Eels.

I'm thinking the "commentary love" Moses will get in his comeback game will be sickening and the volume on the TV will be turned down.

Played better.
I thought the forwards played well. Casey had a good game and showed talent and Blaize started to show some class in the 2nd half. Nothing over the top but some nice quick passes and knew when to pass or run most the time.

Unsure if this is a turning point. A lot ingoing to depend on how much Casey and Blaize improve as the season goes on. I also thing one more forward is needed. Someone with a bit of punch/ tackle breaming ability.

My wife noticed this about the game as well. He complained so much that she mentioned it a few times.

My reply to her though was that I'd be complaining just as much (in that first half) if I was him. We got a lot of very favourable calls and non-calls in that half. I think most of us would have been absolutely fuming at the refereeing if the roles were reversed.

I am obviously glad that things transpired as they did and that we hung in there for what was a very ugly half of football. We needed that to slowly get our confidence back and midway through the 2nd half we finally found our mojo.

The bloke can't help himself.

It's even better at the ground. You can watch him off the ball run 30m to the ref. Pirouettes and all. Rips out his mouth guard and bellows out his usual garbage.

He'd go well as one of those salespeople you run into while at the shopping centre. 'Just a moment of your time please sir!'

Talagi has a nice burst of speed when engaging the line and passing. Was nice to watch.

To be fair Dom Young is pretty quick, but yeah Jenkins got burnt by him a bunch of times. Luckily Casey had him covered.

Casey's speed is definitely needed. Talk of dropping him is crazy imo

He looks like a genuine speedster not over the first 10 but after that he's running a lot of guys down and will struggle to be caught if they can grt him space.

I’m with you! For those brave Panther fans with optimism that Number 5 is still alive, Tab currently have Penrith at $13 to win the comp.

I put $500 on this last night. Thats a $6,500 payout if they win. And a wont tell my wife that I did it, if they don’t!
You’ve got some stones mate!

How can any Rooster player show humility when they are coached by the Great Trent "Sobbo".

I feel like I’m normally pretty impartial in my view but can’t agree with you. The calls we received have been heavily over blown. Only one I think was incorrect was the Cleary escort which we got away with.

You could also argue the high tackle early in the game should’ve seen the Roosters forward in the bin as well. I got no issue with it not being a binning but given the recent form it’s just as controversial as any other call in the game.

Summing up, 5 in 25.
