getting bent out of shape about constant stupid decisions. A Hosking captaining cup or playing off the bench for min wage is what builds a strong club.
Yep.

A club which consistently has depth issues poo-pooing cheap quality depth players because... why? Because people at the club thought he couldn't play first grade and they don't want to admit they were wrong? Grow up.

Or it never happened

Yeah this is most likely unfortunately. The bloke on MS forum making stuff up or getting wires crossed makes more sense to me than the board actually caring enough to call a meeting to begin with and then somehow deciding in that meeting that the best decision was to keep him on. If they were concerned enough to call an emergency meeting it’s unlikely he’d be kept on after that. His position is untenable.

Didn’t that poster with the inside info over there get into some trouble last year from the club for leaking information? Or am I imagining that?

It's poor roster management - not silly teenage ego.

Get the salary cap only 10% off for each player in the roster is over 1.1 million blown. The Knights are known for signing too many mid tier journeymen offering no bang for the buck - there's ya players like Hosking let go.

Add to that - a lack of 3rd party deals = juniors can't be kept.

You're right, Hosking would have made all the difference this year. We don't have any 98kg backrowers to lead our pack. We're just stuck with the undersized 106kg ones

Funny that his name never came up when we were winning in 2023, you know the year we apparently rejected him coming back for minimum wage
