Not that they'd have the money, but I reckon Dogs. Last year and maybe earlier this year (?) on several occasions, I've heard Phil Gould give him a big wrap on his potential, and immediately I felt he would be making an approach first chance he could get. Especially if Gus can convince KPP that he knows how to get the best out of him.
They’ve got heaps of edge forwards though in Kikau, Preston, Tupounuia and young Harry Hayes

Given the make up of our spine next year which seems heavily reliant on our running game being the main tactic to beat opponents we badly need more than ever to re-tool the forward pack in order to be any chance in winning games.

Galvin granted early release immediately apparently

could we see Galvin to parra, kpp to tigers and Brown to knights before June 30?

Tbh I don’t want Brown this year simply because we’re in such a bad state we’re going to keep losing regardless of the halves and he’s going to get ripped to shreds by the media due to the price tag. Would prefer him next season when hopefully POS has been able to find some actual forwards for him to play behind.

I reckon we'll regret letting KPP go
Yes and no.

If he goes to the Tigers we'll be sweet. We'll never see his potential reached in NRL and he'll be a 'what if?'.

If he goes to the Eels/Dogs/Somewhere capable I'll be sad cos he'll have the path to being excellent.

That said too much gets said in here about us not 'using him right'. A huge part of that falls on the player themselves.

Tbh I think KPP’s just one of those players who looks amazing in the more open game in the super league against weaker defence but naturally more limited against NRL defensive lines.

I definitely think he’s done well to adapt to the NRL defensively but if Toohey’s right that he’s gotten a “big” offer to go elsewhere I think we’re doing the right thing not competing. It’s just as likely he’s reached his potential in the NRL as it is he hasn’t IMO. We took a punt way overpaying him on potential. It wasn’t a complete bust as he’s a solid NRL player most weeks, but we can’t be handing him another 750k contract. At the moment I’d be offering him around 500k which I suspect is close to what we have, understandably a 250k drop though would make him want to leave.
