Gotta hand to Dogs' fans , they certainly know how to rock on with their crowds.Incredible.
I now unashamedly admit I'd like to see em in the G/F .It would sell out in an ant's fart time .

No thanks
Last time they did a Sydney double header 110,000 turned up.
If they had Tigers v Panthers on at 2pm before the big game, 15k Tigers fans would have turned up and 1,000 Penrith fans. That game would have had 25k and there would be 76k in for the main event.
That is what we want.

22,972 (2012, Sydney games only) - 11,316 per game.
20,848 (2024) - 7,068 per game.

Some of those numbers better explained.

33,426 is the 10th best season average of all time, Broncos hold the top 22 spots. It’d be good to see a club other than the Broncos make an appearance in the top 10.

23,572 is a Sydney club record, neutral games included, Bulldogs 2012. Bulldogs Sydney game average that year was 22,972. Sydney games only is held by Souths who averaged 23,415 for 9 games at Accor in 2013.

Bulldogs look set to crush heaps of records this year, looking at the run home I think they have 30k in the bag if weather is kind.

You mean the 104,583 that turned up for the first sporting event at the new Olympic Stadium in 1999?

That dropped to 62,255 for the 2000 double header, 54,833 for the 2001 double header, 37,183 for the 2002 double header, 42017 and 33,397 for the 2003 double headers, and 42,717 and 25,771 for the 2004 double headers before they were discontinued as an annual event?

We should be building up these public holiday games as standalone events.

I’d hope dogs can retain that 34k average but it will be tough, 30k is much more achievable. The manly, dragons and sharks games could get about 30k each pending weather. The warriors game could be another 50-60k crowd.

Outside the Penrith game which will get 25k the rest are good time slots where 30k should be easy unless the weather is awful

That eora game at Allianz should sell out too

The most encouraging thing is the Bulldogs strong form & large supporter base should help some other clubs with their averages as well.

Rnd 17 v Panthers at CommBank should push 20K now, despite being a Thursday night.

Rnd 22 v Wests Tigers at CommBank should push 25K+ on Sunday afternoon.

Rnd 24 v Roosters at Accor should push 30K+ on Friday night.

It's a shame next weekends Rabbitohs v Bulldogs match is impacted by Origin withdrawals, otherwise 30K+ could be on the cards. Hopefully it still pushes 20K+

I’m cautiously optimistic they can stay closer to 35k than 30k by season’s end.

Broncos 30k - Friday night game, one month between now and next home game to build up some demand.

Dragons 40k - Big Sydney rival even though their form isn’t the best.

Manly 35k - 1995 GF anniversary, Bulldogs first home game at Allianz.

Warriors 45k - Probable top 4 clash, Warriors bandwagon in Sydney should add some decent numbers.

Panthers 25k - Thursday night but should be a great match-up with the Panthers probably looking to push in to the finals.

Sharks 35k - Last home game before finals against another Sydney club that will likely be playing finals.

All those look achievable.

Think wahs could be 60k

Didn’t think 35k was possible but you’re right it’s a chance.

I think this will flow on too other Sydney clubs to try and get more event games or make their game v dogs a big thing down the track

Sharks could be for the minor premiership

They got all their dud crowd games behind them

All quite possible and truly unheard of a Sydney club averaging 35k for the season. Even 30k average was a pipe dream up until recently.
