Also think $2.60 is tasty odds with a few Donkeys backing up from the exhibition game tomorrow. Would prefer to see Billy Burns in the 14 or if it must be a back Hohepa for sure though Fitz tends to debut guys at home.

Nothing….Burns was impressive and exceeded my expectations when he filled in for Teig when he was injured. Puru obviously hasn’t been given his opportunity as yet but can’t be far away as Fitz tends to debut players after being included as 18th man a few times. You’d have to think he wouldn’t be too far away. With a view to the future Puru is obviously a part of Fitz’s plans for next year. Atko will fit in well at the Goons….
They love mediocrity.

I dont think we're in a position to dump Oregon atm, I would like to see him benched to send a message though.

Burns either starts or doesn't play, no point having an edge backrower on the bench when both ours play 80 and we have JC who can play edge, plus we have Sifa .

Having Sifa on the bench was the main reason why people didn't like Atko there because Sifa could be that utility , albeit as not as clean as using Atko.

Now Sifa is starting if we went four forward with no utility value we'd be in trouble. A bench of Puru, Rudolf, JC and Uele doesn't help if we lose a back or a half and we've needed to use Atko for both those positions a few times this year. Puru has some utility value but not the same as Atko

Not to mention that JC, Uele and Rudolf can all play 40 minutes easily with AFB playing 60, Nikora and Tieg playing 80 and Oregon able to play 40 too there's no need to have a forward for those minutes.
