Was he playing tonight
Maybe he did something in the final 7 minutes. I couldn't tell you. I walked out and had a shower. Apparently, according to my wife who knows nothing about footy, "We scored 12", so I'm guessing we scored in the last couple of minutes.

I'd put Yeo in the same boat. The two of them have been absolutely dominant in club land, have built the Penrith empire... but plod along when it comes to rep footy.

Then you have guys like Mitch Moses and Cam Murray, who have been great but not as dominant in club footy, come along, step up and dominate rep matches.

Moses only real dominant performance at rep level was game 2 last year. Cleary has had great game 2 games too. Game 3 last year it was Luai who broke it open.

Yeo until tonight has been incredible off the ball in all his rep games until the tackle on Grant tonight. I believe Yeo has also played the most football of any player this decade. This year it's finally beginning to show.

Game 3 deciders always have supersonic Qld line speed because they know the ref lets them go most of the time. NSW are never awake to this.

NSW lost the series in Perth with poor discipline in that 1st half but also didn't expect Klein to ref it like an NRL match. It was only game 2, not a game 3 decider.

Also, To'o and Lolmax made the same number of errors. That's a surprise tbh.

The backline could never get into it but when they did they still didn't go very well. Crichton is 100% injured, surely

Martin and Angus should be giving their origin payments to Cleary for copping all the criticism - deadset quiet all series both of them - shouldn’t make the the bench in 2026

don’t play Cleary in 2026, what happens if NSW lose again - just keep blaming the halfback

What gets me is that they picked him because they said he was more mature and learned from his mistakes. Did he though? It was the same old same old from when he was in charge last time. Completely blew it. He's only won 1 series in what is now 6 series. Worst record ever.

Did the NSWRL board think anyone would be good as a coach because of the players?

Get a fresh face in, get some new blood, make them more passionate to play for the Blues.
There really aren't any new fresh faces for NSW. I don't think nsw gave Billy the respect he deserves. He was a rookie they thought. But he was thorough, knew how to get the best out of his players and they wanted to play for him as a TEAM.

I wonder how much the lingering/nagging injuries for Cleary, To'o and Haas played in their respective sub-par performances tonight?

Was Haas sub par?

111 metres and 44 tackles for a prop. By his standards it's lower output but with 40% of the ball first half I'm not sure I'd call it sub par
