Radley can easily get off any potential charge(s) by pleading that he didn't write the texts as his grammar is not that good, especially after all those head knocks.

The shitty thing is, hypotheticallyroosters sack radley and he signs at another club that’s desperate for overs

The thing is the media keep trotting this line out

No criminal charges have been laid against Radley. There is no suggestion that Radley actually obtained or took illegal drugs.

From the police perspective that makes no sense to me. From our persepctive, even if it was dumb luck due to the person not turning up, if he didnt obtain or take them then what can you do?
If Radley didn't buy anything, nothing was dealt, and nothing was organised.

Weird.

On one hand, just f**k them both off and they can labour the rest of their careers.

On the other, this whole thing stinks of leveraging big names to get at the dealers.

It's very f**king strange

What if this case gets thrown out on thursday? Where does that leave either player?

The cops releasing the texts is odd.

Is there anything to say the cops released the texts? They supplied a brief or statement of facts, who released it?

He absolutely did obtain them and that is THE key plank in the prosecution of the Cheese- eg no supply without a recipient proven beyond reasonable doubt.

The NRL 360 morons are incapable of digesting that this is THE CHEESE and HIS DEALERS case, not Radleys. So nothing will be proven against Radley in this case. Facts and evidence will be tendered and argued. But if Radley goes to trial for possession, use or some other minor supply charge that's a whole new thing.

I think it's pretty clear the morons have been told what to repeat by Fox legal to avoid defamation and are trying their very very best to remember the right words. It's painful to watch.

There are other messages in some of the articles that would appear to confirm he did take delivery.

Messages from the main dealer to Smith saying he eventually managed to sort it, after a load of mess about. Messages from Radley to dealer pre and post delivery. Message from Radley to Smith confirming it got sorted.

It’s cut and dry - but I guess buying of the drugs is of no interest to the Police, only dealing. And this is something I raised in some of my original posts on this, if there’s no confirmation Radley received anything, how can Smith be charged with dealing. Surely there’d have to be evidence a deal actually took place, or how do they charge Smith?

Police releasing and fishing or their is an unleaked part where someone was caught with a bag or some one was under survelillance by officers- which THEN combined with their fairly detailed descriptions of their timing, movements and activities would start to become a pretty strong case?

But as pointed out. It's more about Politis comments on drug use. So is he a man of his word. Will Radley be the scapegoat? What about other Roosters players who were with him?

Reckon billionaires get there by being "men of their word" ?

Easts has a cap to sell you.

We all know that Radley will be punted and Roosters will add his salary to Anasta's salary that they have been stockpiling since he left more than a decade ago and have over $2m of cap space next year.

I expect easts sack him. Will be interesting to see what the NRL do, if they stand by easts and stand him down for a while, or let someone else sign him immediately. Theres no doubt he’ll find a club pretty easily.
