Friday 26/9
Melbourne v Sharks at AAMI Park

Sun 28/9
Broncos v Penrith at Suncorp

Process of elimination (who i hate the most to get eliminated)

Sharks v Ruff GF

Though I think it will be Ruff v Storms in the big dance..

Friday night - may it go deep into golden point, with both boring and unlikeable sides grinding each other into injury and fatigue, and out of a chance to win the following week...

Forced to nominate a likely result, Storm by 14 - though I'd always prefer an all-Sydney grand final.

Sunday - wow, this will be some game. I'd like to see/hear how the Panthers pull up after today's game, with potential injuries to Martin, McLean, and a potential fine/suspension for Schneider. Their left edge defence needs a little work during the week, as the Broncos are also in form and dangerous.

Hoping it's Penrith by 8, but suspect the actual result may be closer - and likely go down to the wire/golden point either way.

Storm or Sharks will have a couple of days extra to recover and prepare. Wether that will help or not wait and see..

I suspect Ponys would want 2023 GF revenge, and be the side that ends the Ruffs run. Think Penrith are playing their best now, cant see ponys winning tbh...

Carrigan out as well next week.

Haas looks like he is one leg atm. A week off will help but he isnt 100%.

Magic Round this year the same timeslot at the same ground Penrith won 32-8

Will the storms spine be at full strength? ...if so, I can't go past them.

I think Penrith have the edge over the broken Broncs.

If you look at all the prelim finals since 2022

There has only been 1 upset and the rest have been 13+ in fact the closest margin has been 20 points in the past 5 prelim finals.

Lets hope for 2 x belters this week

2022
Cowboys v Eels @ Townsville - 24-20 to Parra
Panthers v Souths @ Homebush - 32-12 to Penrith

2023
Panthers v Storm @ Homebush - 38-4 to Penrith
Brisbane v Warriors @ Suncorp - 42-12 to Brisbane

2024
Storm v Roosters @ Melbourne - 48-18 to Storm
Panthers v Sharks @ Homebush - 26-6 to Sharks

I thought the Sharks last year couldve had them but looked gassed in the second half.

Will be interesting to see what happens if they beat Melbourne and assuming they meet Penrith.
