She's comfortably our best outside back though so I wouldn't say normal turnover. But yes on a personal level I'm more sad to see her go because she was a favourite.

I think that's down to personal preference which is obviously fine. I don't think she's separates that much from other wingers in the comp and is very replaceable. I'm nervous any time a bomb goes her way.

I really thought I was over this feeling of hatred and anger but seeing it officially confirmed and watching her in Brisbane colours, talking about how amazing the Broncos are, was too much.

It was the biggest slap in the face to the teammates she left behind (actually more like abandoned)… she’s basically saying that the team assembled isn’t good enough for her.

I seriously hope the Karma train collects both her and her lanky, stringbean of a ‘friend’ for how they both have treated this club.

I think you sum up my feelings very succinctly there.

The "want to win a premiership" comment almost broke my brain it was so moronic. You've already won 2 at 20 years old and just finished third on the ladder this season? Spineless bullshit.
Yep just a weak response and a real slap in the face of the club that identified her at 14 years of age (before we even had a NRLW side).
Where this stinks even more is it was the worst kept secret even half way through the year so is she saying at that point she had already given up on the squad being able to win a premiership?
It would’ve been ok if she said something like stepping out of her comfort zone, wanting to reunite with Tamika and Romy Teitzel or even if she said to team up with Ali Briggenshaw but to use the wanting to win a premiership rubbish makes it much tougher to swallow.

It’s just a lazy response. The comps going to go into a rough cycle for a few seasons. I’m sure it’ll explode in Brisbane again if they go back to dominance. That’s going to come at the expense of markets like Newcastle, Canberra, Nth Qld and Western Sydney.

Move along for whatever reason you want - no problems with that.

But shitting on the club that made her on the way out? It’s really poor, and it’s not necessary.

Exactly, and it’s not like she’s leaving the wests tigers, we literally finished 3rd this season FFS. This would be like Nathan Cleary leaving Penrith to join the broncos because “he wants to win a premiership”.

Let’s just be honest here, she hasn’t got the ticker to lead a team to glory so is happy to ride Tamika Upton coattails like she did previously.

She's dead to me but I don't care about her comments too much, just her being in that jersey is enough. She's 20 years old and in her mind it's an exciting opportunity, it's a stupid comment she'll probably look back on and regret, footy players can be young and dumb regardless of sex.

This for me too. The decision to leave is what stings. The interview is just a 20 year old flubbing her way through some fan-friendly cliches to paper over her actual motivations for leaving (monetary, or otherwise). It's just media shite, she's literally at work.

I too was stupid and said dumb shit when I was 20. Made some pretty selfish decisions too.
