Hopefully a reverse. More traffic and eating options should make things more competitive and that might bring costs down. In saying that they probably are slugging them to far more rent for premisses.
Considering it was supposed to cost 250 million and it's now almost a billion I suspect that merkins like you and me will make up the shortfall.

I’m waiting until they put a ferry wharf there.
f**k knows when that will be. Stupid decision to not have one yet.

Agreed.
Both sides of govt have failed on this. Libs originally did nothing with planning, and Labor have massively dragged the chain ever since.
This place will be a massively huge tourist attraction.
It's an arse of a place to get to without a decent ferry. The L1 Light Rail line doesn't run enough services, and parking is at a premium. The City - Parra metro will help once the station at Pyrmont opens; however, that's still a walk and 6 f**king years away.
Prepare yourself for media outrage once it opens.
Similar to the Rozelle Interchange.
Media clicks.

Any new government building is a billion these days. The 250 million is laughable whoever came up with that number needs a new Abacus....
That would be the government of the day decision makers in 2016 (Baird decision fish markets would move) and 2020 (Gladys' decision to approve final plans) - both from the reliable NSW LNP.

I don't really care about the politics take it to the dick measuring thread...

It would have been an independent/private company that have that budget of 250 million..

I am just saying any government backed project like this now is a billion straight out.

I am sure your mate Albo the Gutless wonder of the world would have been there for the grand opening to cut the ribbon though if Bondi didnt happen for the PR and publicity.

It's a piece of state infrastructure... so given how these things work I'd expect Chris Minns to be there, two Bondi nutbags or otherwise.

There will be teething problems, that's why I intend to go there in April. They have three months to get it sorted.

If transports difficult I can tell you some streets to park near me and it is a $14 uber ride. Might be easier.
I'm off Tuesday. Might even check it out
