I'm all for HBF being the first game, and vs Souths, with the timekeeper's bell couldn't be more perfect.

I'd keep HBF as the Perth destination all 2027. Build it up as a hot ticket and sell it out as much as possible. Include Optus in the draw for "28 if the demand is justified.

Round 2 against Bulldogs at Accor for anyone who doesn't make the pilgrimage to WA in Round 1.
Makes sense to be one of the Tigers' Leichardt games at some stage, and the Roosters with Polytec.
Playing it at HBF would mean no NS fans could attend (likely to fully sell to ticketed members). Cook has justified the public expense based on sports tourism. He wont want to see thousands of travelling fans to WA shut out I wouldnt think.

I’m sure plenty of ns fans who are members will be able to buy tickets by early release like every club does through their memberships lol.
What a dumb comment by you.

another clueless post by perthwrongs, the power of the internet and this cuck Perth wrongs doesn’t know how to do a simple bloody research

Are you really that moronic? There’s always away bays and other reserved bays for non home fans and in this instance it means there will be bays for non WA locals.

perthwrongs, ding dong lol

They’d be the first club to go with a membership scheme where members actually lose priority the further away they reside from the home ground.

Bold strategy, let’s see if it plays out for ‘em.

He isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed is he. I have no doubts there will be around 12-13k seated memberships at its peak. But the other 7-8k will be for casual and opposition bays, etc. Suncorp reserves thousands of seats for opposition teams fans at broncos games. That is done via ticket tek allocation etc

You idiot lol, there’s talk of over 2000 ns fans coming over for the game, yeh they’re going to set aside a few thousand seats and miss out on those membership sales in case someone from sydney decides to fly over.

of course we might not sell 20k memberships, but if we do then ns fans are going to miss out, only way of guaranteeing they don’t is to play at optus first game.

You’re the idiot, cuckman.
There will be reserved seats/bays for non members seating meaning there’s always going to be seats for opposition teams fans and out of town bears fans.

Ns fans aren’t going to miss out an opportunity to be able to scoop up memberships regardless if they can make only a couple of games or not for their bears. I am 100% there’s east coast fans who will buy home game memberships just because the $$ is nothing to them lol.

Perthwrongs ding dong. Still trying to shit on north Sydney even after Perth has bears now lol.
Clueless as always.

There will be reserved allocated seating for the east coast Bears fan base with heavy emphasis on this first home game. HBF or Optus - that doesn’t change it.

It could be 1000 seats, it could be 3500 seats, it could be more. Tickets/seating allocation will likely be released in stages - especially for this first game. What doesn’t sell in specific ticket release stages time frame will then go to general public release stage a couple days later. This is not uncommon.

It’s also important to understand that it’s money being brought in via. travelling fans - that will go back into local tourism and hospitality. The very things that make attracting away/interstate fans, attractive. By its very definition.

Only a complete dimwit would think there’s a chance east coast Bears fans are going to be locked out and miss out on this opportunity. But hey if the shoe fits, I guess wear it proudly mate.

Ok geniuses, lets see if game one is at Optus or HBF shall we?
lol that’s not even the point here. It doesn’t matter if it’s Optus or hbf because you saids if the game was actually played at HBF then bears fans couldn’t go.
But as I keeps telling ya there’s always seating reserved for away or travelling fans like @Red&BlackBear said and only after they can’t be sold do those seats then get released for general public.

That is beyond the point.

As per your posts below are were making a statement that if the/a game is potentially played at HBF then east coast Bears fans would potentially be locked out.

Playing it at HBF would mean no NS fans could attend (likely to fully sell to ticketed members). Cook has justified the public expense based on sports tourism. He wont want to see thousands of travelling fans to WA shut out I wouldnt think.
Err? If we sell 20k full season memberships to fans in perth there’ll be no room for anyone else at hbf you gonk!

Now if you’re arguing that Round 1, 2027 should be played at Optus as opposed to HBF then that’s a different conversation entirely. I agree with your view on that.

Point is however - you argued something different (that is east coast Bears fans being potentially locked out) and at the very least my response to you was on that dimwitted take.
