You idiot lol, there’s talk of over 2000 ns fans coming over for the game, yeh they’re going to set aside a few thousand seats and miss out on those membership sales in case someone from sydney decides to fly over.
of course we might not sell 20k memberships, but if we do then ns fans are going to miss out, only way of guaranteeing they don’t is to play at optus first game.
There will be reserved allocated seating for the east coast Bears fan base with heavy emphasis on this first home game. HBF or Optus - that doesn’t change it.
It could be 1000 seats, it could be 3500 seats, it could be more. Tickets/seating allocation will likely be released in stages - especially for this first game. What doesn’t sell in specific ticket release stages time frame will then go to general public release stage a couple days later. This is not uncommon.
It’s also important to understand that it’s money being brought in via. travelling fans - that will go back into local tourism and hospitality. The very things that make attracting away/interstate fans, attractive. By its very definition.
Only a complete dimwit would think there’s a chance east coast Bears fans are going to be locked out and miss out on this opportunity. But hey if the shoe fits, I guess wear it proudly mate.
