Mate I saw this on nightline last week,they interviewed a bunch of residents who live on this street.
They are not going to totaly oppose it,but want it drastically reduced in size,they say they were mislead(lied to),don't know if they werer or not.
They said they would appeal councils decission,thats all I know,hope this helps.

It's a bit of a dumb comment. You're a prominent contributer here. By saying this forum is sh*t, you are indirectly saying you too are sh*t.

If you don't like the forum, you can quite easily piss off.

But you won't do that, thus there must be something good about them that keeop you coming back.

No both are sh*t in different ways. Doesn't mean that 100% of everything posted here is sh*t. Personally I loathe the GUI used on this forum and the technical issues that keep arising have reduced my views here as well. The discussion has a tendancy to follow a certain formula and gets repetitive but this will only change through a larger pool of contributors.

The other forum, for mine, has the issue of too many contributors which makes having a coherent and flowing discussion very difficult

if you have problems with the way the site runs, feel free to let an admin know so they can look into correcting the issue. They are always making updates and improvements.

They aren't going to know what all the problems are if people don't tell them.

The connection issues with the site that see me unable to connect most days (which is actually a board originator problem I would gather, and the GUI are the ones that sh*t me.

Back on topic. Truth be told we'd both be f*cked if we didnt merge, one maybe slower than the other but we'd both be gone by now. As for crowds, well since the merge our average crowds are only about 1 000 apart and thats with Leichardt traditionally (until this year) getting the much better fixtures. As for the mongs well unfortunately we both got our fair share, I grew up in Lidcombe and we got plenty and now run a tavern in Balmain and see plenty more. You all need to understand the culture of the grounds/clubs and act accordingly, heres some tips;

If I go to Leichardt I leave the car at home cos by the time I find somewhere to park I may as well walk from home. If I go to Cambo i dont take the car cos I dont want the bastard pinched.

If I go to Leichardt I bring my own food so I dont have to line up for half a game, if I got to Cambo I bring my own food so noone can sneak a bite of it as I get back to my seat,

If I go to Leichardt I limit my alcohol intake cos I dont want to go an have a leak in those crap houses too often, if at Cambo I limit my alcohol intake cos I dont want to go home with a 20 stone Shazza.

If I go to Leichardt I bring a blanket to sit on the hill and not get a wet ass, if i go to Cambo I bring a blanket to wipe off the spew someone will no doubt plant on me.

If I go to Leichardt I bring some aerogard so the termites wont take me home, if I go to Cambo I bring aerogard to spray around the Shazza Im hoping to take home.

If I go to Leichardt I wear sandshoes for the long walk to the ground, if i go to Cambo I wear thongs cos I hate being over dressed.

If I go to Leichardt I bring mylanta to settle the hot dog from the hospital, if I go to Cambo I bring royhpnol cos its a form of currency.

Anyway at ANZ, I can get there easy via public transport, get to a comfortable seat, get an easy beer and feed with no lineup. And yet both those sh*t holes above crap all over ANZ stadium.
