Hang on. So the fact Mullo and Rogers both got injured, leaving Scott as the only one left, was all his fault? No Jobdog, winning the game was great rugby league , with two decent halves.
As opposed to letting a 14 point lead slip with half a half.

Karma, in all seriousness mate do you actually blame Dureau for that loss?
Well, we managed to do the exact same thing on the Gold Coast, without Scott. Or are you going to excuse them for that because a) it was the first game of the year, and b) only Scott's "capable" of "surrendering a lead"?Nope, but the inability to be able to step up and take control of the match with his supposed great kicking game, and his infamous ability to lead the boys around the park with a 14 point lead is...
Of course not, but the ability that everyone goes on about here how he organises and leads his team around the park really well, was clearly missing.
Lets see how he goes on Saturday.
He gets the team all to himself , no more excuses from anyone.
We'll check out his ability to play at NRL level in the next few weeks won't we.
I see wave #2534728 of Dureau hate from Mr Agenda didn't take too long
Do you rate Farah by any chance Karma? He did the same as Dureau earlier with a short kick out on the full...
What would you have done at halfback with 2 mins go to and 2 behind? Just pass the ball on to one of the forwards throughout the set and boot it up on the end at the last to surrender the game?
Edit: How about you direct your agenda towards the rest of the team who got us in that position in the first place - rather than your favourite supersub who was thrust into the main playmaking job in the team (yes, the one that helps create tries) when we needed a last ditch attempt at points, and who very nearly became a better supersub than Craig Wing ever was for NSW with the kick to Sau at the end!
And they never will.
Dureau now will have the chance this week to show us all he is a first grade halfback.
The team is his and his alone!
Should be fun to watch. ;-)
Not only was one kick good and the other one rubbish. One was most probably necessary while the other one was 100% not necessary.
We probably could have done worse then Finch. But Finch would have no reason to come here.
Playing in a club like melbourne will drive up his price.
We couldnt afford the $300k + he'll command(Nor should we pay that much!)
He isnt a good fit for us for the price, and nor are we a good fit for him.
6.Rogers
7.Mullen
7.Dureau
6.Mullen
neither have any hope of winning a premiership.
You can't tell me that a kick across field on our own 20 in the first tackle which made us 10 metres was "necessary"...it was a fine kick agreed - just a play that was completely unnecessary, full of risk and panic and stifled all the hard work up the middle that the backs and forwards did all day. It says to me that he had so little faith in his own players around him that it was up to him to pull off a miracle play to save the day.
