i think he has hes good and bad moments but is still probably that creative spark that we need
Please do, just to be sure he doesn't come back to Brissy

They (the donkeys) were certainly hoping that he would reconsider his signing the week before he came down to us. They were screaming for him.
You've got to be kidding. I'm pretty sure we should have paid you guys a transfer fee to take him.

Well Henjak seemed pretty keen on having Smith around at the Donkeys......He would of been a good back up for when Wallace and Lockyer are aren't available.

"Tim's done a great job for us. He's only 24 but he's played a fair bit of NRL and he's got a real football brain," Henjak said. "He's become a real asset for us.
"(Getting him in the side) is something we have to work out in the next few weeks, getting the balance on the field and on the bench right are going to be the difficult decisions to make.
"It all depends which way we go and we need to have every position covered there on the bench. There is a still another trial to go, but it is just good to know he is putting his hand up and if we call upon him he'll be ready."

He was an emergency backup and was never going to oust Wallace.
As for quote you used, wtf would you expect a coach to say to the media?

You guys wanted him, you got him. Sounds like it was a win-win to me. THANKS again \\\\:D/

Well done Tim, you helped me win a $50 tonight.
I doubt he'd of won me any money if he'd stayed in Brissy. This deal just keeps gettin' better :thumb

Tim Smith - I would renew for another year or two...

But I want him to sort out defence and kicking issues.

Defence was fine tonight because they made sure he wasn't isolated. He was at marker a lot which was smart as he can harrass and doesn't have to make decisions.

I was very happy with his kicking. I don't mind erratic - although it keeps our side guessing, it keeps the defence guessing as well.
