I would tap Lee Oudenryn on the shoulder to come out of retirement at this point...
All jokes aside, lets get some one in to create competition for next season. If not here, than from UK, ANYONE.
We are not getting our 700k's worth of NRL winger out of this prima donna.

This team used to have great wingers and now we have 10 years past his prime Roger on one side (not knockng Roger, hes doing a job) and Calamity Jane on the other.

Then if one of those get injured, take your pick from Kosi or Morgan Harper. The only thing McFadden hasnt timed to perfection. All these other guns have come on the scene at the right time, (I love Leka and Vaumaga) but no winger in sight.

DWZ's attack is OK. He does some good hard runs. Yep he dropped that ball at the start and then the PTB error. Shit happens. As we all know, its his defence. Has he lost all confidence? Every side must just plan to run that way and it will work! Easily!

The Knights targeted his wing from the start, and it paid off.
The one time he was in his place on defence he completely missed his man.
He has got a new name in our house. Vacant Mullet.

He was terrible!! Even when we had numbers on that sure he was playing at the ball rather than just marking his player.
And he had a couple of errors when we had the ball!!

So did we, weirdly. Despite the other side really seeming to be more of a threat.

I get that he was marking a guy who is a bit of a liability himself

As long as he scores/creates more or equal to what he lets in, he can be carried.

Right now he has got that balance off, not scoring/creating/finishing enough opportunities.

This is until we get better options

Yeah I'm not in favour of dumping Dallin based on yesterday alone.

He has had a sloppy, injury-packed season, but yesterday looked a lot like a head job as well - overplaying his hand and chasing the game after that first knock on. We don't have equal or better options unless we rip the band-aid and replace him with Taine, until then he's at least trying unlike Kosi and should improve with more game time.

He's been doing this for a season and a half. And yeah, he also did it in 2023 but SJ was creating enough and Dallin was finishing well enough that it wasn't noticeable. He's getting worse and worse.

I would 100% drop him next week. Taine showed enough on D last week that he can slot in and do a job, when CNK is back (he seemed to confirm on insta that he would be)

I think the edge defending of Capewell, Boyd and Niukore is also dodgy and on occasions where Dallin isn't to blame either he erroneously gets blamed, or we just blame no-one.

With that being said, Taine has played better than DWZ on the wing this season and I'd pick him this week.

With that being said, I don't expect Webster to drop DWZ as I think he would see doing so as effectively being an admission that DWZ isn't a first grader anymore. DWZ appears to be physically fit and is running the ball strongly enough, so it's basically a defensive decision making issue. I don't see Webster pulling the pin on a 200-game veteran on the basis that he's forgotten how to play.

neither

but this clearly isn’t the exception. It’s more that rule.

I thought DWZ was significantly worse yesterday than anything he's conjured up in a Wahs jersey so far.

I'll happily take Dallin at BAU, it's not 2023 and quite frankly it's pretty average - but it's still better than anything else we have unless TT takes his spot. As MV says, TT moving to wing, when he's a natural fullback, basically telegraphs the club is saying see ya Dallz. We're not there yet.

Yeah, I just don’t quite see it that way. What is wrong with putting him back to NSW Cup to work on his issues, which seem much more significant than those of others who have been dropped.

This isn’t Shaun Johnson 2024. We have DWZ until the end of 2027. Address the issue!

Geezus, 2027? He's fallen off a cliff now...did he re-sign this year?

Seriously, go back to the 2023 final v Brisbane, look at both Herbie's tries and Arthurs. He's been doing it for ages
