Pretty much this.

You forgot when Perrett got pushed with no penalty and you scored from the drop out.

No way was Youngs try BOD. If that occurred in the field of play it is a knock on every day of the week.

Oh and as we could see from the overhead shot it wasnt a forward pass.

As for Anastas try should have been a penalty try IMO. Cannot use feet to save a try.

the reffing was the same as it's been for a few years- f**king terrible.the merkins in pink have now become an acceptable downside to the game.

that aside, the chooks got totally owned by the goons in the 2nd half.anyone who thinks the refs gave the game to the goons are just whiny losers.

rugby highlights-you seem to be leading the way in proving how much of deluded fool a person can be.

Young's try was one of those ones where I would have been happy for it to be given or denied- so benefit of the doubt was a fair outcome to me

The overhead shot proved it wasn't a forward pass- correct and unfortunate.

re Anasta's try- I was thinking more 8 point try than penalty try

LMFAO at the merkins unable to accept a Dragons premiership!

If this, if that, if everyf***ingthingelse.

If the touchy got that call right on Morris, who can say the Roosters don't even score a try in the game? In any case, the non-knock on call cancelled that call out, except for Carney's off night with the boot.

Or if y'all had been born with testicles, you might be able to take the loss like men, instead of the whining little b*tches you're showing yourselves as.

CHOKE on your rage & bitterness. DRAGONS 2010!

Anyone suggesting that the referees had any influence on the outcome of the game, are either totally stupid or death and blind.

While there was a couple of "interesting calls", each team recieved some and they cancelled each other out.

The Dragons won because they were the better team on the night, especially the second half.

LOL. I wouldn't be on the train home. I'd be out celebrating with my mates. Guess you don't have any eh?

At least you can sit by yourself on the train and make angry posts on LU. That should fill the void right?

How do you get back to the ground? You saw the post match pictures right? How do you get to the leagues club?

Oh but you would be out celebrating with your mates, lol. What, in the ANZ parking lot?

Police used a Taser on one man, who was subdued and arrested. He's currently assisting with inquiries at St George Police Station.

Epic guilt fail... Are you new at this?

lol wut?

first paragraph of your article.

A MAN has died in hospital after being subdued by police after a fight at St Leagues Club during celebrations for the Dragons' NRL grand final win.

Yes, if St George don't go 6-0 up then it makes no difference at all. There's no difference between having the ball going to the oppostions end and having a try put on you. Yes, there sure are some idiots out there.

Hey fairfax, suck sh*t. You lost. That's it. Game over. Yet another Grand Final in the last 11 years where your club failed to drive it home and simply weren't good enough.

No amount of your bitter, narky, pathetic whinging will change facts. You still get to come back and do it all again in 2011 and who knows, you might even win it next year with the quality you have across the park.

 I'd rather be a "moderator boy" than a bitter f**kwit who cannot handle losing a Grand Final.

No problem at all, We didn't expect to be there. It was a complete surprise and we over achieved with a side that has been built into a competitive outfit inside twelve months. St George have earnt their victory with two years of consistently strong performance.

I believe the title of this thread, and I didn't start it, alludes to the point that poor refereeing impacted on this game. There is no doubt that the Dragons should never have been 6-0 up. After that whatever happens is nobody's guess.

The poor language and abuse doesn't get started by me, and I believe you're the one who swore at me.

Poor old Southern Saint went off half-cocked and admitted he made a mistake. Fair enough.

I think the mod team is just a little over-excited.

Poor refereeing happens across the board and well and truly evened out throughout the first half. You led 8-6 at halftime after scoring two tries (who knows, if Carney converted both tries the story today might be different), one of which was dubious in itself. The second half - Saints legitimately got out to a decent lead before the Young try (which probably wasn't one) but fair dinkum, blaming the refs for the result is a bit rich. The better team won and it does you nor your fellow fans no favours.

I don't see where 'moderator' comes into it. It seems to be a tool people in losing arguments seem to make. We're all members first, and moderators second:
Members should note that the people who manage this site are members as well, and as members will take part in any discussion

I don't see anywhere that suggests that we can't engage in argument or fight with anyone, especially when they're being a sore and bitter loser, which is what you've come across as in this thread.

I think legitimately that going 6-0 up under those circumstances impacts on the result. Any fair and reasonable assessment dictates that. After that, no other event counts. The conclusion can be drawn that a refereeing error has impacted the result. Carney would not have had either shot at goal and that is irrelevant.

I didn't think that you need to swear at people, and that is where your position as a mod is brought into place. If I swore at you, then you'd be reasonably placed to respond. Civility goes a long way. You should try it.

You're an idiot.

Sux to lose a grandfinal but Roosters fans must be used to it by now. Throw BSmith in as coach and it was mathematically and physically impossible to win.:D
