Can anyone confirm if One HD will be showing NFL games this season, and if so how many etc?

Last year they showed the same games as ESPN, which was a life saver as the Foxtel TV is dominated by everyone else and I never get to use it.

I purchased TiVo specifically to record NFL games on One and then Packer and Murdoch went and changed the channel

Now I have no idea if One will be showing the NFL in 2011. Their website doesnt even mention NFL as a sport.

This is from the ONE Facebook page a week or so ago.

Thankyou all for your questions, The NFL will be returning to ONE but at this stage we do not have any further details

It has been rumored that One will keep showing international sports such as the NFL until their current contract ends (which to this day is a mystery as far as I know) and after that date all international sporting programs will be exclusively shown on Pay TV formats such as Foxtel. Interestingly Mr Murdoch is a also director of the global media giant News Corp, who owns 25 per cent of Foxtel *hint hint nudge nudge*.

I just cant sit at my computer to watch games, the screen is too small and there is no f**king couch

I need my sports to be on television - if that means hooking a PC up to my computer and by-passing Fox any way I can, then I will.

Murdoch can go f**k himself. I already pay a f**king fortune for Foxtel Platinum Plus with IQ for one tv. I like FTA sports on the other television so I dont have to continually wait my turn to watch every sodding program I want to watch.

I don't need the expense of another bloody IQ box for another room

This digital revolution really is becoming quite a whimper isnt it?

how did i know foxsports would play the least attractive game on monday morning week 1.

options were - atl v chi, det v tb, phi v stl.

yes, they decide to show atlanta at chicago at 3am.

thank god i bought the game pass. now i don't have to worry about the crappy games foxsports shows every week.
