Farah's an 80minute player mate. If he continues to play in his current form next year he will be the best attacking Hooker option we have. Period. He has creativity is fast around the ruck and can send players off and really expose defensive weakness (Which yes let's admit even QLD has a few times each game).
As much as well all say it on the forums and talk about it, he won't be selected.
If he is selected, it's our halves that still really need to stand up if we are going to win a series and not just one of the games. But no doubt Farah can help their consistency by taking away some pressure from them.

Pearce's position in the team purely depends on the success (if he is successful) and the position that Mullen is playing next year.

Hayne will be there. Whether it's 1, 2 or 3 he has to be there.

Farah will not be picked. Sticky doesn't want an 80 minute hooker to run the side, in the same way he didn't want Hayne steering the ship from the back. He wants a solid defender who can give good service early on and then sub him off for another hooker to run and cause problems up the middle.

Mullen is way too big of a risk. Pearce/Soward were good. I can't think of a better halves combo over this period. Reliable in defence and they grew with each game.

Jeez personally I would love to see Farah out there in some way or form... The tigers are on fire and he is really providing so many creative options in offence.

This pains me to say as a Dragons supporter. I don't think Morris should keep a rep jumper barring his form. Was not overly impressed this year. Personally my wingers would be Hayne/Uate.

1. Dugan
2. Hayne
3. Jennings
4. Lawrence
5. Uate

Possibly the strongest backline we can have unless Sticky (If coach) wants to see Gordon or Coote tossed in.

And Yes I agree. I know Farah won't be chosen even if he plays 50minutes and rotates off at the start of each half. I would kill to have him in the team he's the attacking spark we need that QLD have ala C.Smith.

Brett Morris is the useless Morris, he can run fast and that's it, I think the selectors just got confused and accidentally selected him.

I'm not sure, Josh played an alright origin a couple of years back, B Morris is yet to play an average origin.

Josh got wrong footed by Hodges and Hunt all game and if he ever looked good with the ball it was because he was playing alongside Hayne

he played 2, I'm talking about game 3. I wasn't being overly serious anyway, he isn't close to breaking into the team at the moment

Hayne has been the most consistent performer for the past four years for NSW. He can fill in out centers or wing position (I personally would not play him fullback too many other viable options). I think we just need a creative half of hooker that can really spark attack and add grunt to our team.

Even Sowards kicking game has been off and something that would have helped in Origin. With

6. Soward
7. Pearce
9. Ennis

We have no real creativity and just Ennis being...well Ennis?

Tony 'T-rex' Williams is turning into a real dynamic back rower this season. He was already in the blues in waiting squad this season, he could be a bolter for next series! He does bring some much needed size to our pack!

True, but I would probably prefer Sims off the bench for size, strength, power and no real errors are evident in his game yet, while T-Rex is still prone for the occasional error.

I think the only thing we lack is the strength and power in Hooker/muscle men.

Our backline has the potential to be very strong with a long list of players. Moltzen is a NSW boy yes? I know he's a few years off but never hurts too look ahead.

Thoughts on Feleti Mateo? Coming off the bench he could really add a lot of spark to our side. Makes mistakes but creates as many opportunities, killing it for the Warriors this year. He could be utilised well.

In the starting side - no. But playing 10-30 minutes I think he has something to offer our side.

He's been a f*cking gun this year and killing it. Definitely would add a 2nd dimension to our attack and I think come Origin time he will work the mistake out of him with some coaching and training.

Always been a fan of the guy. Like the way he plays as an individual and a team player. Yes he would be best off the bench on the back-end of each half when the opposing team is wearing a bit of tiredness throw him on to shake things up in there.

Is he a NSW boy?

I'm leaning towards no, but I would not be disappointed if he was put onto the bench to play an impact role.
He can provide / run a linebreak as quick as he can hand over possession which is my worry.
His timing of offloading this year has been a lot better, compared to previous years which is a positive.
If he was selected however, Gidley should not be selected (arguably shouldn't be anyway).

ps yes dragon2010, he is NSW (99% sure :))

Cheers Timka. Looking to be a few good players up this time round for Origin. Hopefully we stay injury free (Unlike our plagued backline this year) and can really step-it up a notch. Whether having the game is Melbourne is to our advantage or not we will see but I'm traveling down for that one.

We really need a strong pack off the bench that can provide great Utility although Gidley will be picked no matter what and there will always be on Manly player somewhere (Hopefully just Watmough).

NSW 2012:

Gidley,Pearce,Gallen,Bird,Ennis will all make the Blues side.Stuart the coach.

QLD the victors as long as this recipe is followed.None of the Blues players I've just named are poor players. They are all however more than a notch below their prospective QLD opposition in raw talent. No amount of 'mongrel' or 'Origin Attitude' those individuals can bring to the arena can bridge the talent chasm that divides the NSW key players from the understanding and resolve that the QLD squad have established and are increasingly fortifying.

Game 3 this year showed that QLD are not letting-up.They are going into next year with a barnstorming Series winning game to buoy their confidence. This is no time to squander the momentum,it's time to put the foot-down.QLD'll come out-of the blocks next year, eager to taste Series victory. There is a whole range of players in the QLD emerging Origin Squad who are eager to bust their way into the team. They've been training together for the past few years.Learning the plays and the strategies that the Main Squad learn so that they can slot-in at a moment's notice, and perform.

Don't think that this QLD team is going to be decimated when this present roster retires( many years off). The next lot coming through for QLD have raw talent to burn.

Bring on the 'mongrel' and the stupid mind-games.It's a distraction from the task at hand and a waste of energy.Keep listening to twits like Raudonikas. The ill-disciplined boofheads with 'attitude' on the Blues side are handing the games to QLD on a platter. They are the equivalent of of mindless brat with a box of matches standing next to someone pouring petrol. They know they shouldn't do it, but they just can't help themselves(with disasterous consequences for NSW).

NSW are their own worst enemy and the best guarantee that QLD will win perhaps another 2 in a row.I'm barracking for Gidley,Pearce,Gallen,Bird and Ennis( and Stuart as coach/selector) to be made permanent Blues selections for as long as they want to do it.Why would I want to NSW to stop losing just yet? They do a great job of humiliating themselves.I wish it could go on forever. :)
