Gallen has put the pride back in the Nsw jumper. His performances game after game in every series he plays is inspirational. To all you qld scum saying he is a whinger etc, I would love to have seen smiths reactions this series if we flip the whole series and you guys are the ones that don't get any of the 50-50 calls. You qlders got pretty much every 50-50 call the whole series and it still took you till about 6mins to go in the final game to defeat us. The guard is changing and next year it will be Nsw winning 3-0. Then let's see how your reaction is then.

I was referring to those who thought it necessary to bring up the 2011 floods. Having known people who lost their lives and homes in Grantham, I guess I don't take kindly to it being trivialised by wankers on the internet.

I still think you were being a little precious about Gallen getting booed though. Can you honestly say you haven't seen the same reaction to a QLD captain in Sydney?

Oh absolutely mate, I am just as critical of NSW supporters when they have done the reverse. Its something I dont like to see at all, not just to my team

And as a former emergency worker I am disgusted that the floods were brought into this. Low blow

When did I say they favoured Qld? Where? I said I feel his frustration mate, the frustration of not being able to win in the last 7 years.

Im angry, gutted and shitty that I have to listen to the enormous jizz fest that is the Qld media today but I can also acknowledge the fact that my team made critical mistakes at critical times that ultimately cost them, again.

You can't have it both ways fella.

On the one hand you berate Queensland supporters for showing their displeasure at the ongoing and ridiculously unsporting behaviour of an opposing captain. Using your example of setting an example for your child was faux-righteousness in the extreme. It doesn't hide your hypocrisy I'm afraid.

Because on the other you see justification in the way Gallen treats the officials. No matter how frustrated a man gets, he's no right to carry on towards referees in the fashion he does. I hope your child doesn't get the lesson of respecting officialdom from your state captain.

At any rate, the 'frustration' line is difficult to swallow. It is evident that Gallen's antics were a premeditated strategy anyhow, a ploy to put as much influence on the refs as possible. This makes the behaviour even more abhorrent and galling.

So we'll continue to boo him, and I'll take great delight in knowing that my children and yours are seeing a poor sport receive such treatment, deserving as it is.

Mate I have, even congratulated Qld on several occasion. Banter before a game is one thing, being a dick after is another.

But a real bugbear of mine is lack of respect for opposition. I'm all for the giving shit to opposing fans and teams but when its over winning gracfully shows true character. I'll certainly be teaching my son he proper way to win
