Shouldn't be a try but under modern interpretations, it's fine.

'Bout time Manly got a taste of being on the wrong end.

Cop that Manly. Wish it was 50 thats what you deserved. Now f**k off. The Cows would have put in a better performance than that total shit. An over rated side if ever i saw one.

Under the current rules it was a try. There was no separation.

The problem is the rule, no way no how that should be even considered a try

Didnt really matter, that was one of the most dominant displays of football Ive seen in a semi. Manlys tries were from a mistake and kick, other than that they never looked like threatening

This post epitomises how stupid most LU posters are. Well done Pete.

I'm going to assume you think the 5m forward pass at Parra stadium was a fair try? Also the Gasnier basketball try? What about when Jamie Lyon knocked the ball 2m backwards before Oldfield scored last year in Townsville and the video ref called it a knock on (even got an admission of guilt from Harrigan)? How about Harrigan conceding that not 1 but 2 tries scored by Souths at Brookie last year were incorrectly given.

But you're right, decisions always favour Manly.

There is no way that was a try!

However in saying that though as much as I hate to admit it there is no way it affected the result whatsoever, Melbourne were simply to good tonight and Manly unfortunatley did not show up (excpet for Lyon) anyway hopefully Souths or Dogs can destroy Melbourne next week!

When the majority of Manly fans here were posting "LOL at the butthurt" and "dry your eyes" rubbish immediately after the Cowboys game, it's a little funny watching them expect some sort of sympathy tonight.

At the end of the day the decision had pretty much zero impact on the game but it is quite amusing that everyone seems to be ok about it given the massive uproar when Manly were on the other end of a dodgy decision.

This comment implies exactly that:

"'Bout time Manly got a taste of being on the wrong end."

No it doesn't. It could imply that, or it could also imply that Manly have had a charmed run of late - as evidenced by the fact that you couldn't come up with any recent examples of calls not favouring them.

I'd say those responses are due in large part to a Manly fan starting a thread to whinge about it.

Victim mentality - factor 9

Can't believe fans have no problem with how shit that decision was. No Manly fan ever said that Manly deserved that try last week but now that it has turned the other way we deserved it. Bunch of butthurt posters here.

Funny that, I distinctly remember Manly fans on this very site telling the Cows fans to suck it up.

So, suck it up?

Suck it up and f**k off. And try and rock up to your teams games once in a while.

Geez you're a dopey merkin. Besides the Cowpats game, can you name another major ref call that has favoured Manly? The fact that only 1 recent game has been impacted either way does not correlate with a claim of "about time..."
