:lol:Once things for certain, for every stroke that Hughes plays in this game, BunniesMan will match him.
He should have been nowhere near the side in the first place. Finally a common sense decision.
Now the media is crying poor and that Mitch Johnson is a tad unlucky.
Pfft...
All he needs is Painey to get back in the Aussie side.
Paines me to type it, but i agree with Locky.Won't be long before Scissorhands costs Australia another test. Paine will be back.
'cept his wife and mumMitchell's omission has disappointed exactly no-one.
Depends how Starc goes though doesn't it?
If he goes 0 for 280 I doubt that people will cry, but if he takes 8 wickets in the match there may be rioting.

Test cricket especially, Wade's a better limited overs player for mine.

Yep. Paine is a bigger myth than Johnson.Damn straight
Time Paine has 95 runs @ 15.83 in the Sheild this year. Do you think he'll ever add to that 1 first class century he has to his name.
Pull your f**ken heads in.
Bunniesman is going to have some serious forehead bruising and a broken hand by the time Hughes walks out to bat
I played against Hughes in Sydney grade cricket in 2006. He was in good form then, but was woeful against genuine swing bowling.
This has been an issue he's always had. He either stays back too long and tries to play defensively off the back foot, or he pushes hard too early and fast at the start of his innings. Even after all the talk of his improved technique, he is still very low in confidence against swing bowling. That's why Martin dominated him so much.
He's lucky he never had to face Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis, his test average would struggle to reach double figures.
