Edgar unlucky there. I thought he may have edged, but I can understand the judges giving Aldo the 3rd.

Apparently Anthony Pettis just TXT Dana and asked him for a shot at Aldo's title...

that would be a f**king EPIC fight!!

Just caught the replay of the card.

Firstly F*CK Overeem the walking pharmacy he jus got his arse handed to him. He was so cocky in the lead up and during the fight and he was destroyed. Like Dana said not TKO that was a knockout.

Fitch vs Maia was an awesome fight. As said before Fitch got Fitched worse than he has ever Fitched anyone himself.

Rashad was so disappointing he looked so off his game, as if his head was somewhere else. So long to the dreams of a middleweight title fight.

And finally re Edgar and Aldo I thought it was way closer than the judges called it.

Awesome card should have made Bigfoot the co-main event though.

yeah i loved that fight... seeing Fitch's reaction after the hooter in the first round when he just realised he's just met up with a WHOOOOOLE new level of grappling was priceless.

Maia is a BEAST at WW.... he just sent shockwaves through the division the way he handled Fitch.

If Fitch didn't have the best sub defense in the UFC he would have been put to sleep.

who he's paired off with next will be interesting... Jake Elenberger?? Tyrone Woodley looked great tonight... but he might need another fight.

Can't wait to hear Overeems thoughts on the fight and his cockiness. Maybe he knows in his head without the roids he can't match it with the best.

Overeem walks into every clinch in every fight with his chin up with no head movement. He did it against Brock the whole fight.

It was only a matter of time until someone with decent hands put him to sleep.

I had Aldo winning 4 rounds, Edgar does that thing where he LOOKS busy but if you are watching how many of his techniques are landing... it's not many. Aldo visibly tired (I thought he looked gaunt at the weigh-in, might have explained it) but I still think he won.

Other fights on the main card weren't to my taste, Fitch/Maia was enjoyable just because it was so unexpected, and Rashad/Nog was ridiculously bad. Bigfoot's KO was awesome but I felt more disappointment and disgust in the way Overeem approached the fight than appreciation of Bigfoot.

It was one of those weird cards where, if all the fighters were to rematch next week, we could very possibly see 5 different results.

Undercard was fun as hell, if you didn't get a chance to watch the prelims you definitely should.

The problem with Maia is how hit and miss he is. If they put him against someone below Fitch he'll probably get submitted or something stupid haha

Pretty upset about the Reem and Evans results as it makes the title pictures a bit more...boring.

Silva won't fight Weidman and I don't think anyone is excited for Cain V JDS 3 yet. Would of loved to see JDS V Reem as a title shot fight.

Found it amusing that Fitch got up at the end of the second round shaking his head and then midway through the 3rd round he was complaining about what he thinks is lack of work. He got owned by a legitimate freak on the ground. Maia's move to WW is a very goos one and should see him work his way to the top of the division if he can work on his stand-up.

Couldnt be more happy for Big Foot, Reem was a cocky prick when this match-up was made because he thought he deserved someone tougher, even at the weigh in he was being a dick.
Rashad is dying a slow death in MMA. He doesnt use his wrestle and his standup is basically just boxing and head movement, which people are getting around. His next fight needs to be super impressive.
Aldo is a freak, his leg kicks send shudders up my spine...its like he is kicking a footy, Edgar is a tough little bastard...Not sure where Aldo goes now though...pretty much cleared out the division and the only one left to fight in FW is Eric Koch...Needs to move to LW and ply his trade their, and see if he can be one of only 2 fighter to win 2 titles in different divisions.

That loss hopefully will knock the cockiness out of Reem. He's lucky it wasn't Cigano or Cain, as they would've taken him apart inside 3 mins in that mindset.

Fitch/Maia was so enjoyable. Complete owning and the look on Camarillo's face during the second round when Maia was suffocating Fitch with technique was brilliant. Rogan mentioned you can't break fitch's will. Mr Maia all but did that I reckon.

Aldo/Frankie was a cool fight. Aldo god damn elite with everything. He was quicker, stronger and better at everything than Frankie. Edgar as always is full of heart but he really needs more power. I never once thought aldo was in trouble and he looked to pace himself throughout the fight. Aldo at 155 would be just as dangerous IMO. Could easily hang with the big boys and it wouldn't be a suprise to me if he got the strap one day.

Missed the prelims but main card apart from Lil Nog and Rashad, which was amazingly bad, was awesome. Great card.

I'm so f**king hungover after going to 156 last night.

Was sitting next to a guy who came from brazil for the fights. He had a multi on Nog and Bigfoot... Told me it paid for his trip!
