One think that hasn't been mentioned is that sticky said that the hammy problem is an unusual one In That its in the top of the leg right near the tenden and stickys concern is that there could be a risk that the injury could get worse..

Brian Smith said on his website that Stuart was stupid to even play Hayne on that Friday night after Origin.

I don't even expect him to play anymore. When he does its a bonus.

He's like Tonga. Except when Tonga plays its not a bonus.

Well I'd still like to see him work with a half decent squad, I don't think I've ever seen a good coach do well with a shit squad, ours is beyond shit...

I really dont see the point in playing Hayne for the rest of the season. Nothing we do for the remainder of the season will have any point to it. Half the blokes in the team wont be getting a game next year. I wish we could just forfeit the last 6 rounds.

I don't disagree, mate - we are soft. A basket case. Undoubtedly.

But will the board really confront Stuart in matters relating to football? I doubt it - Stuart is not the type of character who will be anybody's puppet.

For the record, I think Hayne should play, but I can see Stuart's reasoning for not playing him.

The board probably want to sack Stuart because he was signed by the previous mob.

That's a shocking decision if true.

Fans turn up to see their team play well and giving the highest paid player in the team the rest of the year off is a terrible indication of their attitude. None of us wants to see us get the spoon, and with Hayne back on the paddock we could possibly win a few games and get off the bottom. If they have just given up on this year completely and resigned to the fact that we will get smashed in all of our remaining games and win the spoon why should any fan support them? It's an awful way to be. It's pretty much saying they don't give a f**k about how their fans feel for the rest of the year.

Oh and if Hayne wants to play in the World Cup, he best get back on the field. Why would they choose a player with a hamstring bad enough to keep him out for half a year over players like Boyd, Tate, Ferguson and the Morris twins who have had several origin games and a ton of NRL games since Hayne got injured? Hayne getting back on the field and playing well will go a long way to him getting back in the Aussie side.

I read into the World Cup comments the other way. If Sheens is considering him then he will play to get a shot at selection. Either way its a piss poor attitude to take and out club has stunk of it for years.

Why the f**k does Sheens have a say? Parra pay his wages, not Sheens, not the Australian team. The fans and the members pay their money to watch a first grade team play their best players

Is Stuart Sheen's f**ken puppet?

What Ricky is saying is that there's no point Parra resting him for the NRL season if Sheen is going to pick him for Aus at the end of the season. Conversely, if Hayne is not in the frame for AUS, then Ricky might try to ensure Hayne is fit for 2014. Not saying I like it, but I can't see why the makes RS Sheens' puppet.

So our coach, captain and best player don't think it is worth playing, why then should any fan turn up to pay and support some overpaid reserve graders?

Stuart and Hayne are treating the members and fans like shit.

I'll go to the Tigers game because i already have good tickets but that will do me for the season.

If he's not 100% fit and there's nothing to gain, why get upset?

Personally, I think it's far more upsetting to constantly see comments from players in the papers saying how they'll put in for their fans and whatnot, only for them to capitulate in the first minute of the game.

Can't we loan him to another team and make some money out of it. Someone on the fringes of the 8.or if inglis is gornsky, lease him to south's or dogs if Barba is gone
