That's a shocking decision if true.
Fans turn up to see their team play well and giving the highest paid player in the team the rest of the year off is a terrible indication of their attitude. None of us wants to see us get the spoon, and with Hayne back on the paddock we could possibly win a few games and get off the bottom. If they have just given up on this year completely and resigned to the fact that we will get smashed in all of our remaining games and win the spoon why should any fan support them? It's an awful way to be. It's pretty much saying they don't give a f**k about how their fans feel for the rest of the year.
Oh and if Hayne wants to play in the World Cup, he best get back on the field. Why would they choose a player with a hamstring bad enough to keep him out for half a year over players like Boyd, Tate, Ferguson and the Morris twins who have had several origin games and a ton of NRL games since Hayne got injured? Hayne getting back on the field and playing well will go a long way to him getting back in the Aussie side.
