Kids prices are a joke. It's one of the big reasons that the AFL draw much better crowds than us imo. That's where you get people into the culture of attending games, not to mention it actually makes it affordable for families to go to the footy.

Having said that i'm not too worried about the broncos pricing. Sure i wish they were better but it's the smaller drawing clubs where we need to see changes.

Penrith cutting their prices across the board. My seat will be cut $80 from this year's price.

Disagree, IMO pricing is the big difference between suncorp being sold out for every game to members and the current situation of a membership much less than crowds. In a city similar size WC Eagles have subi sold out to members every year with a 5 year waiting list to become a ticketed member. There is no reason the Broncos couldn't be the same.

I'm not sure what i said that you disagree with. I think the broncos could really increase their crowd and membership numbers with better pricing and i'd really like to see it.

I just think that some of the smaller drawing clubs are where this is more crucial. I'm not disagreeing with you i'm just waiting to see what happens with the other clubs before really worrying too much.

This for example is great news. Hopefully we see things start improving for the club, have great memories of going there as a kid and i love to see a big crowd there.

Thread for all things 2014.

Broncos first off the rank with their 2014 memberships. $435 to sit on the try line seems very expensive.

That's pretty average. We spend $30 more and sit about on the 40m line right in front of the Storm coaches box and IMO it's worth every cent. I don't mind paying that sort of money for seats like that but there's no way in hell id be paying $435 for the try line.

That is great news

Penrith are getting their act together on and off the field. I sincerely hope they do well in the finals this year and crowd numbers increase the next season.

I have continued with the membership spreadsheet for 2013 and have done a projections up until 2017. should be close to the 400k target if the ARLC get involved to reduce the price.

There really aren't too many bad seats at Suncorp, I usually sit behind the posts on the lower levels when I go, the prices are ridiculous otherwise

They have a discretionary $1.15 million they give clubs each year they could add a bit to that for clubs to reduce prices, at the least and to start with for kids. We all think broncos could and should be drawing much bigger crowds given their situation, cost is one area they could help that with. When I went a few weeks ago a decent seat cost me $60. If I ws a casual fan I would very much be picking and choosing the games I went to at that price.

Excellent news. Find the problem and implement a solution, can't ask for much more from the club

Yep that's all I want asking. whats also good to note. Only bay 5 (middle of the field) will be reserved seating on the side opposite the tunnel. So really no excuse not to improve to 12k minimum crowd next season
