Keary is a better playerIf we let Adam Reynolds leave the club, we are out of our f**king minds.

Reynolds went a step back from 2012 (typical of second year players), but his 2012 form was absolute top tier. Keary is just potential right now.Keary is a better player
Hayne to Bulldogs
Hopoate to Souths
Adam Reynolds to Parra
Sandow to Star City
Harden up princess

I can't believe how people (a lot of Souths fans included) have gone cold on Reynolds over the last few months. Sure, his form dipped around the halfway point in 2013 but it's only because opposition coaches started to work him out. It's easy for a talented kid to make an impact in the NRL when they first come on the scene. It's also a known fact that many of them struggle in their second year as opposition coaches develop game plans to counter them.
Just because Reynolds has been worked out, doesn't mean he goes on the scrapheap. The challenge is set for him now to work with Maguire on a new plan. He needs to add some more strings to his bow and I'm sure the two of them know this and will work on this in the offseason. The fact that he didn't do this after round 13 isn't an indication that he can't do this, it's more of an indication that halfway through a season is not a time to tamper with your game plan. The preseason is the time to make these changes and I'm sure that this will be top of Madge's agenda come the new year.
If anything, the back end of last year should help him to become a better, more versatile player in 2014.
Personally, I think he can become a SOO half in the next few years. Talk of him being there this year was premature. I also think that Reynolds and Keary will be the halves combination at Souths going forward. Sutton has done a good job there but it's time to shift him into the back row. He was always a stop-gap half until something better came along imo. We are also at the point where we need his line breaking and offloading ability in the forwards. Our current pack is too predictable and non-creative.
With Sutton at 13 and Keary and Reynolds at 6 and 7 we look a better prospect imo. It's a far more dangerous attack.
Unless Keary beefs up I can't see him making a huge impact in NRL
He's pretty much the same weight & height as James Maloney.. another Parra Junior who has since won a premiership and represented NSW.Unless Keary beefs up I can't see him making a huge impact in NRL
Keary to become an immortal then  This dude gets it wrong more than bunniesderp does
Coaches didn't work him out, he just started listening to the critics too much and ran the ball too much and got away from his natural strengths. It was more like Reynolds thought teams had him worked out so his kicking game suffered. Pretty standard for a second year halfback, DCE went through a similar form slump late last yearI can't believe how people (a lot of Souths fans included) have gone cold on Reynolds over the last few months.
