The Roosters didn’t score a single try tonight with Cummins there for the assist.

f**king embarrassing. Forever tainted.

2019 winner: Sydney Roosters***

*** Widely considered the greatest robbery in the history of the game.

Oh please.

The Roosters managed to hang on through adversity and then struck when they got the opportunity.

None of the decisions directly lead to tries. Your team dropped their guard and conceded.

Go f**k yourself NRL, we always knew this was going to cost someone a GF
Some of us have been saying it all year Vic.

I'm posting well after the end of the game, and the refs boss has said that during the run of play, they (the refs ) communicated on field and changed their mind.

It was the total confusion from the Raiders players that got the Roosters over the line, and in saying that, that responsibility lands on the lap of the on field referees.

But hey it's spilt milk, and again, the sport has another shit-stain smeared against it's lifelong "credibility".

So you've never seen a ref initially call play on, then change their minds and call play back for a knock on? You're having a laugh.

either refs can change their decisions or they can't. Should they ideally never get things wrong and not have to correct themselves? Abso-f**king-lutely. Is it still preferable for the right call to be made in a sloppy way than to just let an incorrect ruling stand? f**k yes it is.
Bro give it a rest

Your analogy is terrible. All the decisions you cite have no effect on a live ball. If they call play on then call back for a knock on, it doesn’t matter what happened after they called play on, because the game is always coming back to a set piece, negating that play.

In this situation, it completely changed what happened in the play, and crucially the result of that play stood, rather than being negated as in all your other analogies. Rather than put in a second kick, Wighton took the tackle confident in the knowledge that there were 6 more to come.

It’s completely different you f**king simpleton.

Hahahahaha. A trainer stops a certain Raiders try and the referee stops the Raiders hot on the attack 10 metres out.

But the Roosters are the ones who had the adversity. Ok pal.

There was a Cronulla game where the ref yelled “break” from the scrum but the ball was still in. Cronulla broke and they were penalised.

The raiders could have played until next Wednesday and not scored again.

Tbf Roosters have been facing adversity since Western Union dropped them. Those transaction fees are a killer.

The Roosters lost a player to injury after a couple of minutes.

They had a player binned. (Probably correctly? I don’t know)

They were gassed.

But they hung in.

That’s all that matters.

Meanwhile, You’re crying about a correct ruling in the third minute.

Your team got an unfortunate call and then conceded 80 or so metres in the aftermath.

This is what decides premierships.

I just feel f**king empty aye. Gutted doesn't accurately describe it.

The six again blunder was disgraceful. But we had 54% of the ball and should have found the points. If Joey had passed to raps I think we go on with it and win.

The atmosphere was amazing and something I'll never forget. Mal starting the clap, the energy when Jack scored. The Roosters fans next to me were good sports as well. Friendly banter all game, shook hands and gave commiserations at the end.

Proud of the boys for an amazing year. Watching Jack and Papa grow into superstars has been special.

Anyway, losing a grand final sucks.
