I'm posting well after the end of the game, and the refs boss has said that during the run of play, they (the refs ) communicated on field and changed their mind.

It was the total confusion from the Raiders players that got the Roosters over the line, and in saying that, that responsibility lands on the lap of the on field referees.

But hey it's spilt milk, and again, the sport has another shit-stain smeared against it's lifelong "credibility".

Tbf Roosters have been facing adversity since Western Union dropped them. Those transaction fees are a killer.

Your team got an unfortunate call and then conceded 80 or so metres in the aftermath.

I just feel f**king empty aye. Gutted doesn't accurately describe it.

The six again blunder was disgraceful. But we had 54% of the ball and should have found the points. If Joey had passed to raps I think we go on with it and win.

The atmosphere was amazing and something I'll never forget. Mal starting the clap, the energy when Jack scored. The Roosters fans next to me were good sports as well. Friendly banter all game, shook hands and gave commiserations at the end.

Proud of the boys for an amazing year. Watching Jack and Papa grow into superstars has been special.

Anyway, losing a grand final sucks.
