Would be a cost issue. Penrith is better than Campbelltown and Newcastle better than CCoast. Easier to have the setup for a few grounds given the cost

Would be a cost issue for sure but if we were looking to prioritise health, Townsville would make most sense for QLD teams since it has 10x less population Than Brisbane. Darius would cry though

Darius crying is priceless but 2 teams in SEQ. Cheaper to fly other sides to Brisbane too

Perhaps easier to test near a population centre.

I have no inside information.

The QLD government owns all of them, so it should not matter to them which ones get used.

I presume the health professionals are being listened too.

Whilst the grounds are shared, as mentioned by @GongPanther they will have time to clean.

Could be wrong but doubt back to back. But they get to keep the production staff together.

Some Councils might be pissed, the Sharks of course do not care, our owned ground with a Leagues club attached will be the envy of many soon.

Renters.

Set your clock for the Warriors at Friday 6pm.
Broncos sponsors must be wrapped with their FTA coverage, f**k the other teams

The old draw had some teams playing each other twice within the span of a couple weeks (who knows why), and now they want to get every team to play each other once first, then have the 5 hand picked match ups at the end.

While writing this I realised that could be because they think those last 5 rounds might be allowed crowds, so they will basically engineer 5 rounds worth of well drawing matches

i don't mind teams playing each other twice with a 6 or 7 round gap, but some teams do the home and away within 3 or 4 weeks which is ludicrous in the NRL. This is generally done in the NFL but between division opponents towards the end of the season as these are games which will have a major bearing on playoff qualification.

and health. keeping games to venues without other sports/teams using them, hence why Roosters can't use SCG due to the Swans.

Yay Broncos playing 13 FTA Games in 18 rounds.
11 for Souths.

3 for the Sharks. 3 for last years Grand Finalist Raiders.

Warriors with 9 6pm Friday games.

I know we're the redheaded step child, but you don't go out of your way to make it painfully obvious to the child.

Given there is not going to be crowds, does that really matter?

Isn't it a perfect time for warriors fans in NZ to watch them on telly or (hopefully soon) at the pub?

R17 - Manly
R18 - Souths
R19 - Melbourne
R20 - Eels

9th here we come!!

as it should be, every 6pm game should be played in nz, be it a warriors game or another club taking games to other parts of nz. In fact the extra money the nrl received from fox for that slot should be all flowing to grow the game in nz as compensation.
