f**k me the Qlderness has rubbed off on DCE. He's gonna sound like Lockout at the Ferny Grove Tavern by the end of this Origin Camp.

That full time being called was a bit of a joke. QLD should've been penalised for holding on and the ball was played in time anyway.

If this felt like a real origin game id be filthy rather than slightly annoyed. QLD deserved to win. NSW picked a shit team by choice. QLD were forced into it. Panthers benhcie Capewell at centre outplayed the top 2 Dally M leaderboard players at centre. Wighton and Gutho were easily outclassed by joke players.

Aside from a few QLD players that second half you couldn't say anyone played well.
Fair assumption. The game never reached any great heights (or low heights) and was totally forgettable. Sure NSW picked a weird side but it was still 100 times better than QLD on paper and if they turned up and had half a go, they'd have won comfortably. Same old story really.

Obviously Wighton and Gutho were out of position but there are quite a few others in the side who are out of form. Jake T has been below his best all year, Frizell the same, Cordner is clearly declining rapidly, Cleary...well... it's already been said by everyone, Cook has been ordinary most of the year and Murray (their most dynamic player) was injured with no input.

Frizzell's cooked, Wighton was a bit of a farce Dally M, Cordner needs to retire. Plenty of problem selections in this nsw side

Some of them are puzzling. Picking Guffo in the centres wasn't going to do it, yet Freddy had specialists Lomax and Crichton to choose from.

Carr had a couple of uncharacteristic mistakes which one cost a try. Cleary tried his best, but the bullshit surrounding his state of mind didn't help matters and had an unusually quiet game by his standards.

Capewell single handedly changed the Qlders chances, and he will be first picked in the next for the next game. Players on both sides suffered from lack of match fitness, but will e better fitness wise for next Wednesday's game.

Capewell should be MoM. He turned the game early in the second half. I suspect the idea of Gutho was to cover other positions in the backline in case of injury, allowing him to have Walker on the bench, who did pose threats with the ball in the latter stages. Still, he should be looking for a genuine utility so he doesn't need to play so many people out of position. Not sure he's got one in the squad though.

I feel like Saifiti got given some of Paulo's runs cos I swear Paulo made more than six, but the NSW front row was good.

The back row was pathetic for the most part, although Concussion Cordner had moments and worked hard. Losing Murray hurt I guess.
