Interesting with Storm and Bulldogs involved. Perhaps a match or partnership.

North Brisbane is more Broncos. Would make sense south Brisbane and west, but Logan is more Broncos now also with the big development and drawn out expansion talk (for no planning) from Gallop. So called "Logan council support" for western corridor.

Heard that it is a game and a training camp on sunny coast for dogs and storm.
Bombers pretending to be somehow relevant!

Whats that got to do with Bombers? And why are they celebrating a trial match between two interstate teams in a League heartland?

It's actually not a bad idea, get all the storm and bulldogs fans living in Brisbane to follow Bombers as their second team.

was there even a press announcement , didn't rate a mention in the media except the NRL giving them a spray before hand about the media alert.

Dogs beat a hasty retreat out of Brisbane when NRL blew up

desperate attempt by this lot to have some relevance like the other 2 qld bids who actually run clubs juniors etc.

THE Brisbane Bombers NRL expansion bid team says it is committed to making the Sunshine Coast part of its footprint after announcing it would bring the Melbourne Storm and Canterbury Bulldogs to the region for pre-season training camps next year.
The Bombers aim to gain an NRL licence when the game expands in the next few years.
In a bid to boost its profile, it will host a match between last year's NRL grand finalists at Suncorp Stadium on February 23.
The Bulldogs will spend five days on the Coast in the lead-up to the match while the Storm will go into camp here after the game.
Bombers chairman Craig Davison said he expected new franchises would be offered entry into the NRL in 2018, which would coincide with the game's next TV deal.
The Bombers hope to tap into the new Sunshine Coast's huge player base - the largest number of juniors in the state outside of Brisbane.
"This isn't the only area with which we will look to have an association, but this is the main area," Mr Davison said of the Coast.
Part of the proceeds from the match will go to Brisbane-based charities Mates4Mates and White Cloud, as well as the Wishlist Foundation, which is based on the Sunshine Coast.

The Bombers hope to tap into the new Sunshine Coast's huge player base - the largest number of juniors in the state outside of Brisbane......where did this clown pull this "fact" from.
Part of the proceeds to charity says it all, $10 to charity and the rest of the gate money from the public pocket to their own pocket, does the game really need blokes whose only true connection to the game is get an earn out of it?
