In A Few Years - The Team

Need someone to make the tackles with that backrow how about Marty Lewis. Albert Kelly will be the next big thing hopefully for us. Junior Paulo don't think so, not in 5 years, how about Brod Wright.

    Todd Lowrie appreciation thread

Your in for a long season then buddy because the Eels coaching staff who are a lot more qualified then us two experts will pick him in every game if he is not injured. Reason being he is tough, runs great angles, hits as hard as anyone in the pack and mainly because the rest of the players want...

    Reddy or Tautai

TT played well but to include him in the 3 best players is a joke. Cayless, Mateo, Finch, Wagon, Cordoba, Hayne and even Keating were more deserving of points than him. Focus on Reddys defence if you want but he also scored a good try to help our comeback against the dogs and set up guru nicely...

If Everyone is Fit What is Your Strongest Team

Laugh if you wish but most of you seem to think Hags is a great coach, well lets just see if he drops Wags and I think he will pick Joel ahead of T

Wags will be one of the first picked, very solid last night.

    Eels - Toyota Cup

Any reports on last nights game ?

    Reddy or Tautai

Joel for me his defence on the wing is better than when he is in the centres, he is faster, better in the air and more experienced. T did well last night and is going to be a good player but I can't believe people gave him points in their 3,2,1. He is as uncertain in positional defence as guru...

If Everyone is Fit What is Your Strongest Team

Good side but Wags will do more defence and is tougher than Ben for a 2nd row spot off the bench. Also I would have Joel ahead of T, better in the air and faster imo. If Ben makes it back in good form he might get a centre spot back with Inu on a wing.

    No wrap players

Cordoba, Wags and Finch don't get many wraps but I thought they were great last night. Also Keating apart from one not great grubber is going to be our long term hooker.

    Daniel Wagon What a joke

Along with Cayless and Cordoba Wags was our best forward last night. I would play him in the 2nd row every week with that sort of performance.

It's a tale of two halfbacks as Finch seizes the night

Well Tim has a habit of being on fire for the first half and then not being seen for the second. Finch was the half when we were 20-0 down but he did not give up and had a go at things that paid off. Hagan is not silly he will have Tim, Finch and Mateo all in his starting side with each having...

Smith an outside hope of playing opener

Tim is going to be a very good player for many years if he stays off the grog but long term it wont be with us. Everyone knows Albert Kelly and Kris Keating will be the eels halves for the next 10 years.

Smith an outside hope of playing opener

That is why Hags is a premiership coach and you like me post on forums. Why would you play him ahead of Finch and Mateo really? They have had 2 games together and struck up a combination and Tim has not played a match. So what is the big deal to bring him back through the regies or where ever...

Ben Smith Commits Long Term To The Eels

If you keep up to speed you would know that Hags is going to play him in the back row. He has enough speed to play there and he might go great. I can see him putting on some big hits and he might be a good player for Dave Fairleigh to work with.

    Silly Media Speculation # 1

I could be swayed if it meant David Taylor was at the eels in 2010.

DT: Tightwad Fitzgerald offers club legend the final insult

True but if Hags is getting the credit for all our young guns resigning, then Fitzy better get the credit for signing Hags. They are both as bad as each other but has Ray done more for the club as a player then the crow or Sterling. You would think so the way he speaks, if there was to be a...

DT: Tightwad Fitzgerald offers club legend the final insult

What about Ray's attitude and the quote Dennis does not care about the club. Ray spilt blood on the field for us but there is no harder worker off the field then Fitzy. A statue would be nice but at the moment I am happy as a pig in s--t that Fitzy signed Inu, Hayne and Mateo.

    Legends hail Eels centres

Correct they will never play side by side, although Nathan Brown was thinking about doing that with Cooper and Gasnier a few years ago. Since Inu and Hayne resigned plenty of people have been expresing their love for Hags, well guess what Hags loves Ben and I bet he stays for another contract...

    Tahu scores for Waratahs

If he stays injury free he will be a sensation. They will forget about Stirling Mortlock very quickly when they see what T can do.
