    It is funny how people perceive things that they read in the press. Having recently been in Port Moresby, though, I feel a lot safer in Sydney than Port Moresby.

    No. There is already a pay TV network in Port Moresby. They don't have Fox Sports, though. They can barely build a police station and protect it.

    Exactly. I don't disagree with PNG having a team because of any Sydney-centric or selfish view-point, I just can't see how it could work in the current security situation in Port Moresby. I speak about this having a family member working there and having visited the place myself just two weeks...

    Yes. They at least have some sort of maintenance plan, even if they aren't the best facilities. If Leichardt was transplanted in Port Moresby, I'm not entirely sure how long it would last.

    I take it you haven't personally been to Port Moresby? The idea of building an NRL standard stadium in Port Moresby is ludicrous. Plus organising security for a once off visit is a little easier than an on-going concern, particularly if players have to live and train there.

    No doubt. Binge drinking is very common, which doesn't necessarily make it good or right. Actually, that is the definition of alcoholism. Dependence, whether it be physical or mental.
