    The Bears have been in discussions with the NRL over what expansion looks like for teams 18-20 since before the Dolphins won their licence. They stated many times they want to be a partner of the game. I’d say they’ve been given direction in how to act throughout this process.

    It may happen eventually and I’m not against it in full but won’t happen for teams 18-20 unless something really goes pear shaped. V’Landys has been clear on any new QLD team can’t take fans from other clubs. I don’t believe any of the QLD bids can overcome this, along with the Dolphins...
