    I think we’ve made a mistake not recruiting another hooker. I know there was some talk they were looking at one, but not sure what happened. Just someone who can pass the ball quicker than Kenny would make a difference.

    Disappointing, but at least it highlighted Soni Luke is clearly the better option. We knew long ago Kenny isn’t a full game hooker, at most he can soak up the first 20 mins. I don’t need to see anymore, his attack won’t improve.

    I think people are being a bit negative. I agree the paceway site would be the best, but i’m confident something very good can still be built on the current site. The main compromise will be at the southern end, at most you can probably only have a small terrace there.

    You mean entrance to the leagues club? I hadn’t considered that. But even without acquiring Ransley st a structure could still be built at the Norhern end, it would just be a bit smaller. You could then make the stands a little bigger on each side to accommodat the needed capacity. You could...

    It’s possible he’s a good mentor but a rubbish coach. In terms of tactics and selections he was very questionable.

    The northern hill can be built on by closing off Ransley st in the middle, making it a dead end at each end. Council could easily do this. The southern end I’d turn in to a terraced safe standing area if the plumbing issues allow.

    I suspect ‘refurbish‘ in this context means essentially a completely new stadium on the current site. I don’t think there’s much that can be done with the current stands that could turn it into a modern facility. It’s often cost competitive to actually knock down and rebuild than it is to modify...

    The issue with Staines is there’s no starting spot for him when everyone is fit and he’s paid starters money. If he’s happy to accept a downgraded contract for 2024 onwards then we might be able to keep him, but I’m sure someone gives him a shot at fullback.
