    Yep, Storm regularly having their first tackle on their 30m line or further, we were coming off the try line. Just highlights a lot of the value of a Cleary or Moses who can kick the absolute piss out of the ball.

    FWIW I think Pezet might get there but if you threw him into our side right now he would be no better than Cogger. The game we beat the Storm earlier this year the halves matchup was Cogger/Gamble v Wishart/Pezet, and Pezet was completely anonymous except for missing tackles. Anyway, very...

    Cogger should have had two try assists last night actually running at the line and passing/offloading, but Hastings and Lucas both dropped the pill. Anyway not much to be done about it other than whinging cause it's not getting better any time soon.

    This is the only reason we lost. The forwards played OK and we had enough field position when the game was still a contest to win.

    Don't discount the lack of Gamblor, he makes things happen in a way Cogger definitely does not. Also Hastings is a shell of the 2023 model, after his surgery I'm wondering if he will ever get it back.

    Might not be a great idea shuffling the whole side to get Armstrong in the team after all. Ps. He's not a real wing option, gets absolutely folded every time he brings the ball back. Would have negative post contact metres.

    Not anymore he doesn't, I rate him as one of the best defensive centres in the comp now. Considering he is covering for the slowest player in the NRL on the inside, and a bloke who only makes a tackle by accident on his outside, he is very very rarely beaten.

    Wouldn't be much of a contest, about 10 weight classes between them. Very happy AOB is sticking with Friz at bench prop.

    Because he's usually playing with DCE and Munster so he has that luxury.
