    We're going to petition for a bid in the SG Ball Cup

    We'll be aiming to get a license with NSWRL for the cup in the next few years. Our plan is for the Adelaide franchise to work its way up the tiers and eventual have a senior men's team in the NSW cup.

    The NRL currently has 17 teams, which is unfavourable. The NRL also wants to expand out west. Split up Wests Tigers. Western Suburbs = Western Magpies Balmain Tigers = Adelaide Tigers Boom - 18 teams and two expansion states covered with one move.

    If there was a national 2nd tier would the clubs in that league be affiliated with NRL teams? Like how Bears are alligned with Roosters for example. I imagine that once we field a team in the NSW leagues we'll be Melbourne Storm's affiliaite as SA players get drafted through Victoria Lightning...

    Absolute madness - and it would not even cost that much to fund a solid franchise in the expansion states. Pump $15-20 million and have those teams play in the NSW cup for 5 years and by 2030's we'll have most states covered. I support WA, SA and even Tasmania eventually having a team.

    Tbh I seriously rate the logo and branding of the Dolphins' NRL franchise. Mainly because of how clean it looks. It'll be one of the most recognisable sporting brands over the next decade for sure.
