    Your home average is your home average, no matter when it's played, no stupid exclusions. If you have generated ways to maximize your crowds through event games then all the power to you. The rest of the sooks can suck it up and lift their own game and find ways to improve their numbers.

    Reducing to 22 rounds and stand alone weekends for SOO (with additional content across those weekends) sounds like a very workable outcome. Would it be better to spread out those stand alone weekends across a few months so the momentum of the season is not lost? One weekend in May, June and July...

    Because the heartland of rugby league is going so very well with crowd numbers..... Clearly the only city that has local sports playing on weekends and those shopping centre sales must be booming this time of year. Even an established Perth team could stake claim to getting 10-15k+ crowds...

    Even have a public holiday the next day and couldn’t build a respectable crowd number. Excuses? People on holidays? Traffic? Big shopping sales on? AFL was a little anomaly but still makes you wonder about the big difference.
