    Its funny how in Victoria the AFL never get an objection from the government or public for funding. In its long history rugby league has been treated poorly by governments for decades our game played in substandard facilities.

    Maybe Morgan the great intelligent one can explain why their schools wont allow our game to be played by their students for over 100 years. Now in this day and age that smacks of discrimination against a sport.

    The reality is our game is small fry outside Australia compared to union. Why would union players switch, absolutely no need for them to do so.

    Storm are doing well here most vics who are interested in sport take an interest in them. As someone said they have plenty of building to go, they have their niche in the Melbourne sporting landscape and are very accepted. However, there is zero interest in a second team.

    I think there is a soccer ground being built in Traganina which is in the west. Good idea but cant see 2 teams in Victoria in my lifetime.
