    Designated tacklers for skill positions

The big question is, will the circumference of the fulcrum vary towards the apex?

    France

I understand that, but I don't see how that is relevant to my question regarding the English clubs and their recruitment of French players.

    France

Fine. It sounds as though the French produce good juniors, who then have no where to go if they want to progress make it to SuperLeague. Surely the English clubs could use a few of them if their Under 18 team is consistently on par with their English counterparts?

    France

So why don't more English clubs pick them up? Why not give a 15% discount on the salary cap for French juniors etc?

Jason Taumalolo opts to play for Tonga

The only reason Tonga can have players like JT is due to the increase salary they have through the NRL. The Domestic leagues in the island nations will never be able to compete with the match payments the Australian and to a lesser degree the Kiwi players can get. Strengthening the NRL and...

Andrew Fifita snubs Kangaroos for to play for Tonga in World Cup

Well, does this mean he can kiss Goodbye any future chance of playing for the Kangaroos? *Crosses fingers*

Rugby League off season rule change talk

Charge down shouldn't restart the tackle count.

    2018 Draw

Can someone clarify what it means when they say the NRL has “control of the scheduling”? From what I understand, they choose who plays who, but the match times are still determined by the broadcasters. If so, it sounds like it’s just going to be like putting lipstick on a pig as far as...

    2017 NYC (Holden Cup)

The refs in the U 20’s GF have been terrible.

    2018 ladder predictions

I don’t think my mob (Broncos) will make the top 4. I also think Parra will just scrape into the 8. Semi could score tries no other winger in the game could. I expect them to be down a fair bit in the ‘For’ column next year.

    2017 Crowd Watch

I've heard him say the same thing about a week ago. He's delusional if he believes new stadiums alone will be the panacea for poor attendance.

2017 Semi Final, Sat - Eels 16-24 Cowboys @ ANZ

Lol@eels Too many shit for brains islanders. Grub it up but when that doesn't work they've got nothing.

    Shane Flanagan's rant, Greenberg's response

Nicer weather, more family friendly, and better footy in sunny dry conditions. You'd think it's a no-brainer.

    Shane Flanagan's rant, Greenberg's response

To break the monotony: How good is it having finals matches during the day rather than night time? Daytime footy rules. They should be playing the next two games at 3pm Sat and Sunday.

    NRL Powerplay rule idea

Absolutely. They need to start sending blokes to the bin for talking to the refs the way they do.

    NRL Powerplay rule idea

If they want to try something, why not have the ref call penalty advantage, and let the attacking team be able to throw the ball around without risk of losing possession for one tackle, - so if they drop it, or it gets intercepted or they knock it on, the only thing that happens is the penalty...
